Klim could only stare at the crowd before him, they parted as the girl walked up with the bow and arrow aimed right at his head.
He didn't want to die, not when his city was dieing itself.
He scrambled backwards, the pole digging in between his shoulder blades, it was painful, but it wouldn't be as painful as death embracing him.
"It..it wasn't me! I swe..swear! I didn't kill her, I bought it!" He yelled, slightly stumbling over his words. He needed to escape, soon.
Another thought crossed through his mind as he froze, the bow levelling with the space between his eyes.
What if he exploded? What if panicking would cause it? He couldn't do that now, he needed to save his home first. He came out of his daze, looking down the arrow at the girl.
"No, don't kill me! I can help you, I know who killed her!"
The girl paused, her eyebrows furrowing and the arrow lowering. He breathed out a silent sigh of relief. Maybe he wouldn't die after all.
"What makes you think that's why I have you at the end of my arrow, Creeper?" The girl sneered. "If you do this, you'll be leading me to be amongst your kind. Even I can't deal with hundreds of Creepers."
He thought over this for a moment, coming up with a plan in his head.
"Well, you do have a bow in my face" He said, staring at the shiny point. "I can lure them out, they have skins from other people too"
There was a murmuring among the villagers, it confused him slightly. But then again, not even Creepers like seeing their own kind on the back of humans.
"Arahia. Don't even think about it" Another voice said, the man standing there looked similar to the girl, who was probably called 'Arahia'. He held a sword, maybe he was a fighter. His hair had dust coating it. His face also wore a serious scowl.
"Who knows what this Creeper is thinking, we cannot trust them. In face, we need to remove him from the Village, before he blows it sky high"
Klim just stared at the man who spoke, he wouldn't explode, that was last resort, and he would only do it against anything but Creepers and Humans.
"I won't explode, I promise! And I'm not lying about other creepers!" He said, he was panicking again.
The man marched forward, grunting. He shoved Arahia to the side, holding the cold steel of the sword up to his chin.
"All Creepers lie, they can't even trust their own. I want you dead, whether or not you killed my mother"
Creepers lie to their own race? No, we were a friendly race who didn't have much big things to lie about. Only after the War did we lie. To save our own skins.
Klim looked at the girl, trying to plead with his black eyes. If only he had eyes like theirs, that could hold so much emotion. It was one of the things he loved about the Humans, along with many other things they had.
"I haven't lied at all, I promise!" I pleaded, fear running through my veins, he had to calm down. If he got too worked up, all his explosive blood would run to his TNT section, which would explode.
Arahia sneed, shoving the man aside.
"For once, you're standing down. I want to take control this time and there is nothing you are doing about it" The girl said, maybe her brother was more in lead?
The girl walked around the back of the pole, untying him. That was one pain gone, maybe all ot it. But it still ended in him being tied to the Human.
