Reply Entry #1
Dear Hazel,
Whoa, this is my first reply, woo! Here we go then, this is what I have to say to your first ever entry in your diary:
I think you need to stop consuming peppermints, you're pretty much addicted to them. It's strange, just saying, but whatever floats your boat! Oh and yes, you usually do write about your day/life in a diary, it's kinda what it's for. By the way, it's okay, I talk to inanimate objects too sometimes. Surely everyone does it.
AnyWILLOW (No? Okay), damn, I'm sorry about your sister. You really don't deserve to be treated lie that, no one does, but I guess it just must be a phase. I'm sure things will get better for you, and I'm sure she's just going through the 'hate everyone' phase that we all go through at some point.
Just try not to worry so much, yeah? Learn to ignore remarks like that. I may not know you, but come on, have faith :)
And maybe drink some wine.
But ew, wine isn't very nice, is it?
About the Veronica thing: That sucks, she shouldn't go around bullying people! But hey, I liked your reaction with how you poured your fruit salad on her! That's pure gold, I swear.
Bye,
Prince Charming
P.S. Damn, this is the first diary I've ever owned, and right now? I feel like a 5 year old little girl. Yay.
P.P.S. You're funny, I like it.
Reading that last line, I smile as I feel my heart beat just the slightest bit faster than before.
What this guy (I'm assuming it's a guy because of the whole 'prince' sign off) wrote to me made me laugh while reading. Thank the Lord, it was just a phase with my sister and we're relatively good now. Apart from the fact that my whole family has been treating me like glass since the incident, like I'm going to break at any moment.
But I'm fine.
"Hey, Haze, Hazel, Hazy, and other nicknames I haven't thought of yet!" Groaning at the voice, I pretend that he didn't just sit down next to me at the cafeteria table that I was alone at. Tess is at Soccer practice, Olivia is with her, and Liam is sick today.
So guess who I'm left with?
"Hunter." I deadpan, "Why are you here?"
Widening his eyes mockingly, he puts his hands up in surrender as he shakes his head, "Whoa, can't a guy just keep his friend company when she's lonely?" He grins boyishly, moss-green eyes twinkling with humour.
"I'm not lonely, I'm reading," I pause to give him a pointed look, "Well, at least I was before you came along."
Watching his eyes flick down to the white notebook in my hands, I quickly place it in my bag and glare at the big smile on his face, "Why so smiley?"
Hunter laughs brightly, setting his arms atop the off-white table, and laying his head on them. Which causes strands of his black hair to fall across his face. And I have to stop myself from smiling at the adorableness.
