Chapter 21

Nonna hums as she picks up the vegetables from one of the shelves before she walks to check on other stuff she needs to buy, on the way to one of the aisle her eyes lands on the box of her favorite chocolates.

She walks towards it and just as she goes to pick it up someone else takes the box away.

"Mrs. Price" a man calls making her frown, so she stares up at the man trying to remember if she has seen him anywhere before.

"Who are you?" she asks in confusion.

"Your step son" Mason grins as he puts the box of chocolate inside of her basket before he walks away.

Nonna keeps staring at the man that just put a bomb in her life shocked before she drops the basket and walks out of the mall.

Pop smiles in delight as his wife enters his office before he gets up in alarm seeing her expression, he stumbles a bit with the force of the slap she throws his way.

"How could you?" she snarls in anger.

"Amore," Pop calls in confusion, as this is the first time in their marriage, that he has seen her so angry and hurt.

"Do not call me that name as you have lost the right to, your son made an appearance in front of me today...

How could you go and cheat on me, how can you hurt me like this Col, in all of our married life together where did I go wrong?

You hurt me in worst way possible, all this time I was thinking of where I went wrong with Gabriel's father now I know where the wrong lies in, like father like son" she spats before she turns to walk away from him.

"Amore please"

"No, I am not listening to anything from you, and I am no longer your Amore" she cries before walking away from the room.

Pop clutches his chest as a pain erupts within him, he gasps calling for his wife but all he sees is a blur of things before collapsing on the floor.

"Duro" Gabriel groans as he pulls his wife closer to him.

"Hmm"

"Give it to me"

"We just did it" Amelia whines as she pushes his hands away from her breasts.

"Not that my phone give it to me, it's ringing" he chuckles.

"Oh" she groans as she passes his phone and turns around to snuggle in his chest while he speaks on the phone.

Gabriel jerks wide awake at once as he hears the caller before looking around for his clothes and cursing, he rushes inside his closet and pulls the first thing he gets to before walking out to wake his wife.

"Duro, come on"

"No, we just did it"

"Duro, baby we need to go Pop is hospitalized" he informs as he shakes her a bit.

"Okay, okay I am up, you don't have to lie, which position is it now" she yawns rubbing her eyes and Gabriel groans as he stares at his wife's gloriously naked body.

"It's not a lie baby, come on" he grumbles before pulling his hood over her.

"Hey" Gabriel greets as he walks inside of the hospital corridor to find most of his family members in there.

"And they said we were bad" Nicole scoffs as she watches the couple that arrived.

"Shut up" Gabriel grumbles as he pulls a chair out for his wife and lets her sit on it before walking towards his cousin to ask about Pop's condition.
