Some day/Some month/2015

Some time.

Sometimes, it doesn't need to be specific.

It's really hard to start a day when you're one of the servants of the so called "law". Damn right it is! It's really, really bad. Not to mention, I always start my day with a simple routine like: Take a shower, eat breakfast and go to work. It's complicated, taking a shower, you know what I'm saying? I hope so... Deciding on choosing temperature, pondering, whether hot or cold? Anyways, I need to go to work as early as I can. If not; well, you know where this situation is going... I'm going to be late for work! I'm a kind of police inspector stationed at Libertad and it's near Pasay Mall.

My name is Alexander "Alex" Lozada. I'm 28 years old, already. I'm also SINGLE! Hi ladies, I'm available! Before I leave my Flat, I always look at Mr. Mirror and see this guy staring at me; A lot of eyebags, lips that are gorgeously big for some reason (also, there's a medium sized mole sticking to the right side), big and observing eyes, average height, soft hair that is really silky (usually on 2x3 haircut) and a long nose and my height is more than 1.62 meters high, maybe at 1.69 meters? I don't know. Technically, that was my reflection and I got to say, I'm drop dead beautiful. No I'm just kidding, mostly. I'm not narcissistic, trust me.

Well then, on to the job! I arrived at the job at exactly 7:06, but I stayed outside until 7:09. "Lex, I know you're there! Come in," oh, here he is... again... showing off... with his detective skills... not again. It's my colleague/best friend: Freddie "Mecrury" Serbacio. A tall middle – aged man with a scary grin (that's why he sometimes doesn't use it. He doesn't smile in pictures for god's sake),thick eyebrows, big lips (but not as big and spreaded around the mouth, like mine), long nosed and eyebags that resembles an Indian dude; for one reason, I call him Freddie Mercury because he looks like him when thinking. He also have this exaggerated eyes (when you look at them you feel like you're being threatened, raped and disrgaced), it's his thing. It's the Freddie thing.

I entered the station. I sat in my usual spot. My spot has a normal Dell laptop and a service telephone on my left. I wrote my usual stuff (reports, police files,... etc). By writing, I mean typing. Freddie was doing the thinking again, so, I decided to not annoy him. Suddenly, the phone rings on my left. I tried to ignore it and look away, pretending I was typing something. "Lex, can you please answer the phone? Now?" he asked, kindly. This time, Freddie was not on his usual thinking mode. Wait. Was he expecting this call? No. Yes? Maybe. Okay, let's just see.

He answered the phone and grinned at me, "We have a new case," I was excited to hear this. I can finally do something out of the boring atmosphere in here, "do you want to come with me, Lex?" I want to but I tried to be choosy and looked at the laptop, again, pretending that I was typing something. "No," I said, coldly. "Yes, you are," Freddie said then laughed. "No," I replied then chuckled. I pocketed two of my communication devices. "How'd you know I want to come?" I asked him then stand then I exited the station.

"Your reaction was a dead give away, Lex," with pride and poker face, Freddie followed me, oh... he looks like Freddie Mercury when he has his poker face on too. "Where are we going to?" I asked while heading to the police car and ride the driver's seat, Freddie followed but he rode the shotgun. The time is 12:00 of 11/11/15. "Do you know the Chooks to go in Leveriza St.?" He said. "Yes, why?" I replied. "We're going there." Yup, the classic Freddie. Full of one liners and lacks details about things. I was thinking of a question concerning the case. "Shut up!" he said, suddenly.
