Percy stared uncomprehendingly at the Iris Message.

"What?" He whispered in shock. Poseidon nodded slowly.

"Her name is Andromeda Mason, she is currently living with her family in Greece. Good luck children." He bid them goodbye before waving his hand through the IM, cutting off the connection. Percy sat down in one of the chairs, staring at the table.

"How could this be Chiron? How could we not know about her?" Annabeth asked, setting one hand on her boyfriend's shoulder and looking at their mentor.

"I don't know Annabeth." Chiron said, just as troubled as his students. Percy suddenly stood up, surprising everyone.

"Mom. My mom will know, at least why she was hidden." Percy said as he began to move toward the door. "I'll be back when I get some answers." The door shut behind him as he ran out of the room.

"Argus, I need a ride into the city please. I need my mom's help with something." Percy said as he came up to the multi-eyed man who raised an eyebrow but nodded. About forty minutes later, Percy was running into the apartment that he shared with his family.

"Percy? What are you doing here? I thought you were at camp for the weekend?" Paul said as Percy joined him and Sally in the kitchen. Percy didn't answer Paul, but stared at Sally.

"Honey, is everything alright?" Sally asked her son but the trouble look just grew stronger in his eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked softly, still staring at her.

"What?" Sally gave a little laugh, but Paul could sense her unease.

"Andromeda. Why didn't you tell me that I have a sister? A twin?" Percy demanded and Sally dropped the dish towel she had been holding.

"Where did you hear about that?" She whispered in fear, tears building in her eyes.

"The new prophecy. It calls for the gemini to reunite and for the lost daughter of the seas. Dad told me that I have a sister, a twin. Andromeda." Percy said and Sally sat down at the table in despair.

"Oh Percy. That summer with your father, when I found out I was going to have twins, it was one of the best moments of my life. But your father warned me. He told me that's you would be powerful enough as his children, but you would be even stronger together. There would have been no hope of hiding from monsters or keeping his world a secret. Your powers would have been twice as strong, as unpredictable." She said as Percy sat across from her. She took one of his hands in both of hers, rubbing her thumbs across the back of his hand.  "Poseidon also warned me about the prophecy. About how it could only apply to one of you, and that it would risk turning the two of you against each other. You two couldn't start together, for your own safety." She explained but Percy still looked troubled.

"But, why keep me? Why not keep both of us anyway or keep her or give both of us up?" He asked and she sighed.

"Oh Percy. I wanted to keep you both. I really did. The day you were born, when I held the two of you in my arms, I knew I couldn't bear to give up either of my babies. But after the nurses took you two to be cleaned up, they only brought you back. They told me that the father had signed the papers to put the younger child, my little girl, up for adoption. I had lost her before even having her. I refused to let you out of my sight the rest of that night. I was terrified of losing you too. Losing Andromeda is my biggest regret." Sally told him and Percy looked at her with a sad sort of smile.

"Well Mom, you're going to get your chance to meet her. We have to go back to Greece and find her to save the Spirit of Delphi." Sally gave her son a teary smile as she stood up and came around the table to hug him.

"Be careful Percy." She whispered, kissing the top of his head.
