"I'm leaving." My brother says, grabbing his jacket and car keys.
"Where are you going?" I ask, before he's out the door.
"Some where."
I look at my mom for an answer. "Where's he going mom?"
"He's going to a bonfire." She says, finishing wiping down the counters.
"I want to go!" I shout, running towards the door.
Josh pokes his finger hard into my shoulder, "it's not for freshman like you!"
I pout. "I want to go."
"Josh. Stop trying to pick fights with your little sister and take her along with you." She snaps. She hated when my brother and I fought.
Josh groans. "Fine." He mutters, not arguing back with our mother.
I smile and stick my tongue out at my brother. "C'mon." My brother whispers as I follow him outside to the car.
"Where's this bonfire?" I ask, strapping my seatbelt on.
"Don't worry about it."
"Why are you so mean?" I shouted upset. I was always nice to my brother and he just has to be a douche to me.
"Because...."
"Because what??" I yell. This should be good.
"Your annoying."
"So?? Your annoying too but you don't see me being a bitch to you. Do you??"
He stops the car and puts his head down.
"I'm sorry. Okay. I'm sorry, but I'm really not in the mood right now."
Even though my brother said he wasn't in the mood, it didn't give him a right to treat me the way he does. I don't care if your in a bad mood, it doesn't give you a right to take it out on people. I turned the radio up and looked out the window the rest of the ride there.
I felt like crying. I hoped my brother wouldn't abandon me at the bonfire
Or mistreat me in front of his friends."Bro wassup." A tall boy jokes, handshaking my brother.
"What's up Jack."Cameron Handshakes Josh.
A short boy with brown hair and hazel eyes jumps in front of Josh and handshakes him. They all stop and stand still when they see me.
"Who's this cutie?" The tall brown hair and hazel eyes boy asks eyeing me up and down.
"Guys this is my sis, Alexia."
Josh motions his hands toward me.
"Hi." I smile and wave at each and every one of them. The tall, hazel eyes boy sticks his hand out, "I'm Jack. Nice to meet you."
I shake it, "nice to meet you too."
The short boy with blue eyes steps up, "I'm Hayes." He smiles.
"Hi Hayes."
Cameron walks by me and gives me a hug. "Hey you." He slightly punches my arm.
"Hey." I smile and hug him back.
"You know her?" Jack asked angrily.
Cameron pulled me close to him, "yeah. We met last week."
"Yeah." I nod in agreement. U
We follow Josh, Jack, and Hayes to the back of our high school.
