Chapter 8

Destiny's pov

I ran, I couldn't take it. So I just took off , I don't know where I was going but I know that I just had to get out of the café. When Derek came to our table I saw everyone looking and judging. 

I feel like such a coward, but the past 4 years came rushing back to me. For 4 years I have had to deal with all the bulling and the hate. I had no one in my corner and then everything just turns upside down when Jay come into the picture.

I stop running when I get to a park near the school. I sit down on a bench and I just lose it, I burst in to tears, I don't know  why but I know that I needed to for so long. I hate crying because it makes me feel weaker than I am. 

 I don't know who long I sat there just crying, but I know that I missed the rest of school. So I started to walk home. I didn't want to go back to the school I couldn't handle it. I couldn't face Jay after i had just ran away. I need to clear my head so walking home was a good thing.

When I walked up to my house I saw Jays motorcycle and Mac's blue mustang. I took a deep breath and opened my front door. I saw mac trying to calm Ashley down.

When I walked into the living room Ashley ran over to me and said " Are you ok, Omg we were so worried about you we looked everywhere where did you go????" she didn't even breath. I grabbed her shoulders and told her" Relax I'm fine ." I didn't feel like explaining myself.

Jay was just staring at me he had this look on his face, I cant tell if he was angry or not he just kept staring at me.

Mac came up to me and just hugged me and told me" I'm just happy that your ok". I hugged him back and told him " Thank you.  now will you please take Ashley hoe before she explodes." He just laughed and told Ashley its time to go. Ashley gave me a big hug and they left.

The whole time Jay never took his eyes off me. We stood there just looking at each other. He looked angry. So I walked up the stairs and I could hear Jay coming up the stairs as well. When I got to my room I put down my bag and faced Jay.

" Why did you just leave? where did you go? I teared up the school looking for you!" Jay said, I could tell he was angry.

I looked at him and said " I couldn't handle it ok! I had to get out of there, I felt like I was gonna explode, so I went to the park." That started the tears again .

Jay came to me and he just held me.  Just comforting me . He said" I was so worried , I didn't know where you were I thought something had happened to you. Please don't do that again." I looked up at him and saw that he had tears in his eyes.

"I promise I wont do that again". I said and I just Hugged him back we stayed like that for a while.

Jays pov

I was so relived when destiny walked in the door I was just frozen. I know I wasn't being fair,  because I was only thinking about how I felt.

I know that she was bullied for years but she's so strong , so when she was gone I lost my mind. I went all over the school I skipped all of my classes, just looking for her.

When i saw her crying something broke inside of me. At that moment I knew how much she was hurting. I just wanted to make all the pain stop and be there for her.

I realized that I have major feelings for this girl.
