It started with a kiss...

It started with a kiss. A kissing game to be exact..

The Fairy Tail members were very bored one quiet evening. It was peaceful though. Gray and Natsu had stopped their fighting, more than half the guild had gone home. The only people left in the guild was Lucy, Natsu, Gray, Erza, Happy, Mira, Cana, Gajeel, Levy, Laxus, Juvia and Makarov.

"I'm so freakin' bored!" Natsu spat, sitting down at the bar and resting his head on the palm of his hand.

"We all are, Fire head. Now shut up." Gray rolled his eyes, scooting away from a heart-eyed Juvia sitting next to him.

"Wha'd you say, icy?" Natsu turned his head to glare at his raven haired guild mate.

"I said to shut up before I make you." Gray glared back, sitting up straighter in his seat.

"I'd like to see you try!" Natsu engulfed his right hand with flames and hopped off his chair.

Lucy sighed closing her book which Levy and her had been reading. "Here we go again.." She mumbled as the two boys bickered back and forth before going into a full-out brawl.

"The peacefulness was fun while it lasted." Levy agreed as Gajeel joined the fight.

Suddenly Cana jumped off the table she was sitting on and ran over to where the boys were fighting. "A-All of you.. SSStop." her voice wavered, clearly still drunk. "I-I've got an idea!"

Everyone, including the three boys, stopped what they were doing and looked at her. "What 'idea'?" Natsu asked curiously, releasing Gray from the headlock he had on him.

"A fun game!" Cana replied.

Soon everyone, excluding Happy, Erza and Makarov, were sitting down in a circle. Cana was between Gray and Mira as she took out two little rectangular boxes. From what Lucy could see on the package, they seemed to be long, slender wheat sticks dipped in chocolate.

Cana held up the package for everyone to see. "These are called 'Pockeys' and there's a fun game thats played with them." Lucy felt chills up her spine when Cana grin evilly. "But first.. I need everyone here to promise not to stop playing the game once I explain the rules."

Lucy met eyes with Natsu and they both shared the same look. 'What's so bad about theses rules..'

After Cana assured everyone that no one would get hurt.. physically, or anything like that, they all agreed to play.

"Ok, great! Now for the rules. Everyone will be split into a pair of two, picking your parters names out of a hat, and will get one Pockey stick. One person of that pair will put one end of the pocket stick in their mouth, and the other person will put the other end in their mouth. After that the pair will bit down until there is no more Pockey left. And whoever stays 'kissing' their partner the longest wins!" Cana smile brightly.

"Seriously?! A kissing game?" Lucy whined.

"Yup! And you all promised not to wimp-out." Cana snickered.

Everyone moaned and Makarov laughed in the back ground with Happy.

"Can't we pick our own partners?" Gajeel questioned.

"Nope. Hat it is." Cana placed a brown hat in the middle on the group. "Who picks first?"

Everyone sat their still for a moment, processing what was going on. Erza grinned from the table she was at, probably happy that she chose not to play.

"Juvia will go first." Juvia spoke up sliding a bit closer to the brown hat. "Watch me Gray-sama!" She said before shoving her hand in the hat and pulling out a piece of paper. She opened it slowly. "Juvia got.." She said reading the name. Everyone knew who it was before having to hear it from her since her eyes widened and her smile was the brightest anyones ever seen on her. "Gray-sama!"

"Oh, shit.." Gray murmured as Juvia jumped at him, hugging him.

Cana started laughing. "Perfect! This will be fun!"

After that Levy went and got Gajeel, but she didn't seem to sad about that. She shyly walked over to him and sat down beside him.

Mira went next.

Lucy glance over at Natsu and he caught her eyes. He grinned at her and she tried to smile back.

(Natsu POV)

Its come down to Me, Luce, Mira and Laxus. I really hope I get Luce. Mostly cause I know we would win this game, and I kind of wanna kiss her.

Usually the subject of kissing would make me wanna throw up, but when I think about kissing Luce, It doesn't seem so bad...

(Lucy POV)

This is bad! I never knew this was going to be a kissing game! But what would you expect from Cana? I should have known this was coming, now I'm stuck either kissing Natsu or Laxus.

I kind of wish it would be Natsu... He is my best friend. Plus whenever the word 'kissing' is mention he usually makes some kind of throw-up noise and walks away. So it wouldn't complicate our relationship. Right?

(Normal POV)

"I got Laxus." Mira said happily, though she's always cheerful so it wasn't much of a surprise that she smiled.

Since Mira was sitting right beside Laxus, she didn't have to move.

Natsu grinned. 'YES! I got Luce!'

"Ok, that means Lucy and Natsu are partners." Cana said removing the hat from the middle of the circle. She laid the pocket package on the ground and each group took one. "Once you all get your Pockeys set up we can start!"

(Lucy POV)

I turned to Natsu with our Pockey in hand.

"T-Try to take small bites.." I advised quietly, holding up the Pockey to mouth level.

"Why?" Natsu coked his head in a cute way.

I sighed. He seriously doesn't get that I'm nervous. "Because. That will prepare us for.. the kiss." I said 'the kiss' more quieter than the rest. Everyone else was whispering to each other. To get ready for this. I'm just glad its only us in the guild, it would be way too embarrassing if everyone was watching us.

Natsu shrugged. "Whatever you say, Luce." He bit down gently on one side of the stick, so he didn't break it. I took one last breath and did the same to the other side.

(Natsu POV)

I shrugged. "Whatever you say, Luce." I could smell her nervousness, It made me feel a bit nervous too. But once I looked into her brown eyes it went away. Its just kiss. We're just touching our lips together for a bit, easy.

I rested my top and bottom teeth on my side of the Pockey gently, using all my energy not to eat it. because 1: I was hungry and 2: The excitement of kissing Luce made me more hungry.

After a couple seconds Luce did the same. I kept staring at her, not breaking eye contact. I heard the noise of the other people around me but I tried to focus on Luce, and it looked like she was doing the same. Her stare was steady and I levelled it.

I grinned slightly, waiting for Cana to say "Go". Luce smiled back at me.

"Start!" Cana pumped her first in the air.
