chapter six

Roaul's pov

I will wait until morning to tell christina we are leaving rome. We will go to athena's for a while. I have a friend there Franco he has found me a house there.

 It will be a better place for Luke to grow up. I go back to bed now the spell has be cast to end the city. It will be shroud in blood and pain.

 I know the spell will work soon and, I want Luke and Christina away when it does. So we will leave in the morning.

I wake early in the morning to people crying in the street that the god's are unhappy with us as people are dying in there sleep.

Damn the spell started working quicker than I thought. I wake Christina and tell her she must pack as quickly as she can as we need to leave the city.

She does as I ask and we are soon on our way. We reach the out skirt's of the city I will have to tell her soon that her Father is dead.

We are now on our way to our new home where we can start again.

Christina's pov

We moved here to athena six month's ago. Roaul is acting very strange. Franco is here all the time which worries me alot.

I'm likely worrying over nothing as usaully. I find a potion bottle on the floor in the kitchen empty. I pick it up and shout to Roaul who is in the basement. " Roaul ".

 " Yes Christina ". I hope he emptied it. "  Is this you empty bottle ". I wait for an answer. " Yes my love can you get rid of it please ". I take the bottle and get rid of it safely.

I then go back to sorting out our son's clothes. I then hear a really loud bang. " Roaul what are you doing down there ".

 I go to the top of the stair's and look down. " It's alright Christina, one of my potion's exploded ". Oh that's okay I think.

 " Are you alright Roaul ". He shout' back he is fine. I then hear franco. " Hello Christina good to see you ".

I smile and me and Franco go and sit and drink a little wine. " Where is Roaul ".

I Point to the basement. " Working as usaul ". I sigh and he says. " It's okay Christina it will have to end soon ".

I nod, I hope he is right but, I fear the worst is heading our way. I fear he has gone back in to the black art's.

 Which could end up killing him or both of us. We have a son to think about. I don't think he care's about that.

I will have to go down to basement soon and see if I can find him. Again there is another big bang.

What is he doing down there. " ROAUL YOU WILL WAKE OUR SON ".  I hope he can hear me over all the bang's.

 No answer I go down to see what he is doing and, I see little ball's of light every where but these are not just any light's no there small ball's of fire.

 " What the hell is going on ". Roaul turn's and look's at me. " Christina I can explain ". I bet he can. " Roaul this magick will kill you ". He shake's his head.

" Christina you don't understand it's in my blood and in me ". I turn away and walk away from him. I stop.

 " What did you do in Rome Roaul ". He look's away from me. " My Father is dead because of you and this damn dark magick, I'm taking our son and leaving you Roaul ".

He come's to me. " Christina please ". I shake my head. " Give this up and I will come back, you are not turning our son to the dark side of magick ".

I walk back up and then to our room, I pack some of my thing's and some for Luke . I pick him up and walk to Franco.

 " Can we stay with you ". He nod's and take's my bag's. I walk away from him, my husband. I will not look back, he will have to make a choice me and his son or his black magick.
