THE TWO SIDE'S OF MAGICK, ONE DARK, ONE LIGHT.

chapter five

Roaul's pov

I cast a small spell and it work's well. Yes I could this magick but, I will have to be careful Christina doesn't find out.

Well we have been married a year and Christina is pregnant with our first child. My spell's are doing well but, I have to hid it from Christina.

I do them at night while she is asleep. I have no choice she will go mad, if she knew I was still cast black spell's.

 She has become a great witch. She is what we call a white witch as she only cast's good spell's.

I hear my beloved waking up. " Roaul where are you ". I put my book's away. " I'm coming my love ". I go upstair's to her.

 I enter our room. " Are you alright Christina ". She look's at me. " The baby is coming Roaul ". I nod and call for the nurse to come to the house.

 " I wait downstair's, I can hear my Christina screaming out in pain. I wish, I could be there with her.

I then hear a baby cry. " Roaul you can go up now Mother and son are doing well ". I thank the nurse.

 I go to my wife and see her holding our son in her arm's. I smile and go to her. She hand's me our son. I look at him.

 " Christina he is beautiful ". She smile's. " Yes he is ". He look's like Christina. I will have to leave my magick for now, so I can be here for my son.

" What shall we call our son ". She smile's. " How about Luke my love ". I smile. " Then Luke it shall be ". I'm a proud Father.

 I never thought, I would have a child of my own. I was alway's alone never needing anyone until she came in to my life.

 She changed me. She made me so happy and full filled. She seem's happy and a bit tired. " I will take our son, you have asleep my love.

She nod's and I take Luke with me. She is now sleeping. I give Luke a bottle and he sleep's. I feel like my book's are calling to me.

I go and take them out and start doing some of the spell's while everyone is asleep. I know it is wrong in a way but the power is so strong and well.

 I feel the power run through me. I will have to be careful having Luke with me. I love my son .

Christina's pov

I gave birth to a son two week's ago now. He is doing well but Roaul is acting strange. He is in the cellar all the time.

 I think he has gone back to the black art's. I hope, I'm wrong but, I have a feeling I'm right. I will have to find out.

I don't want him doing black magick. He is not evil he is a good man but he draw's magick to him like a magnet. It seem's to run through his vein's.

I wish, I could do something to stop it. I don't think, I can all, I know is it will end up killing him. I go down to the cellar as Luke is asleep.

 I find Roaul bent over his black spell book. I knew he was using this book again. I pull the book from under his head.

" Roaul you promised no more of this ". He look's at me. " Christina I can explain ". No he can't, this is nothing but trouble and death.

" You can't Roaul, this book will either kill you or end our marriage. Maybe even both ". He look's away from me.

 " It call's to me. The magick call's to me ". I shake my head at him. " Then I will end this one and for all ".

I take the spell book and carry up to the kitchen. Roaul follow's me. I go to throw the book on the fire. " Christina please don't ". I look at Roaul. " Is this thing so important to you Roaul ".

He look's at the book. " It wont burn Christina ". I will see about that. I through the book on to the fire. He is right the damn thing wont burn.

 I hate it and what it is doing to us. Roaul get's his book out the fire. I walk away from him. I go and pack a bag for me and Luke.

 I then come down and pick up Luke. I turn to Roual. " When your ready to give up that book. We will be at my Father's ".

I walk away from my love. I have no choice but to walk away from him. It hurt's but I will not have my son exposed to the black side of magick.

I open the door to leave when Roaul says " Christina please don't do this ". I look at Roaul. " I have no choice, I will not have Luke exposed to the dark side of magick for you ".

 He sigh's and look's at the book. " I will let you hide the book so I can't find it or use it ".

I nod and walk back. I put Luke down and take the book from Roaul. I then walk away with the book. I go outside and bury the book in a row of hedge's.

 I hope it rot's away. I walk back in to see Roaul playing with Luke. He can be a great Dad and a loving husband when he is not around that book.

" It is done Roaul ". He nod's and come's to me and we hug. I feel this is not the end of my nightmare.

Well it has been day's since I buried that book and thing's are great. Roaul is being a Dad to our son Luke and a husband to me.

 " I love you Christina ". I smile and kiss him. " I love you Roaul ". I know my power's are growing stronger.

Our son is two and half week's old and Roaul is talking about another baby. I shake my head. " Not yet my love ". But if it happen's it happen's. I know in my heart we are happy.

But at the same time I feel something is wrong. I'm not sure what it is but there is something. I lie in my husband's arm's and sleep.

Roaul's pov

I have my book back, I found in the bushes. It called me to it. I of course have put a happy face on for Christina.

 I know she is asleep, so I go down to the cellar. I start to use the dark side of magick. I cast a spell that will bring trouble to this city that I have come to hate.

It is time we moved on. I know that why Christina's Father is alive she will never leave so. We will have to take him with us.

I will wait until morning to tell christina we are leaving rome. We will go to athena's for a while. I have a friend there Franco, he has found me a house there.

It will be a better place for Luke to grow up. I go back to bed now the spell has be cast to end the city.

It will be shroud in blood and pain. I know the spell will work soon and I want Luke and Christina away when it does. So we will leave in the morning.
