The wind was howling, and the night is stirring. A shadow sprinted past hunters. They were aiming for her body, literally with guns and such. Jester and Madison was just on track, but a bit off balanced.

{Jester POV}

"Where did that witch go? I saw her running this way!" I yelled. I held a crossbow close to my side. Madison was right behind me with a gun in her hand. We saw a shadow pass in a building.

"Over there!" Madison shouted, running to the building. We ran, quickly without hesitation. The shadow stopped at the second building, unable to open the door.

"Stop, right there." I said, aiming my crossbow at the creature. "There's nowhere else to hide."

Madison got closer and cuffed her with a seal that stabilized them.

"Do you think that'll stop me?" The girl said with a grin. Her fangs shined like silver in the moonlight. She broke off the cuff and walked away like who the heck cares in the world.

"I said don't move!" I said, holding the crossbow at her head. She pushed away the weapon. "I'm sorry, I think I ran out of time. Bye," she waved.

Madison shot a bullet at her, but what was left was a straw body."Tch, she got away." Madison said, putting down her gun. She pulled out her walkie-talkie.

"Leaders, come in all troop leaders."

"Troop leaders reporting for duty! "

"We have an monster running loose. Make sure all citizens are home safe."

"Roger that!"

She slipped it in her pocket. She walked over to me "Who was she? She broke through the hand cuffs. Do you think she's a descendant?"

I shrugged. "I'm not sure, but we need to keep an eye out for her. Who knows what problem she'll cause."

As we walked out, I saw a silver cross gleaming on the ground. It was beautiful. Unable to resist it, I secretly snuck it in my pocket and followed Madison.
