A Week After the Incident
{Evie's POV}
"Evie, please get up. It's time for the first day of school." My cat, Momo, said. I groaned as I got up. "Is it time now? I don't wanna."
Momo shifted into a female in a maid dress and apron. "Get up now, before you're late."
I rubbed her eyes. "Tell me again why I have to go to a hunter's school?"
Momo sighed. "We have to find your cross. The last time you got in contact with them, you lost it and some hunter took it. Aren't you at least worried?"
I shook my head. "Not really. Even if they found it, what use would it be to them."
"You do know that if you can't find your cross, you won't be able to use your powers."
I got up immediately and rushed to the bathroom. "Fine!"
I came out in a uniform. White collared shirt, plead red skirt, and shoes that the school sent. I placed on a bracelet to be comfortable.
"The school may be stupid, but they do have taste in my type fashion, old fashioned and classic." I giggled. Momo stared at me. "Do you really have to wear your peircings?" I nodded.
"Yep, it's kind of like my trade mark." I ate a loaf of bread, grabbed my bag, and left. "Bye Momo."
Since the school was three miles away, there wasn't a need for a drive. I came by at a house, few blocks away from where I was, with a guy and a girl arguing with each other. They wore the same uniform, which meant they were, both, same grade and school. I walked closer and saw something familiar on the guy's neck. He hid it before I could actually get the image in my head.
The two looked back at me. They whispered something to each other before coming up to me.
"Hi, do you we know you? Since we go to the same grade, we should be able to know you."
I said nothing and walked away. The guy grabbed my shoulder.
"Excuse me, we asked you a question." He said in a tough voice. I slapped his shoulder away. "I'm sorry, but I don't want to answer you."
"Do you know who I am?" she snapped.
"Someone whom I don't want to speak to."
"I am Madi-"
"Uh huh. That's good to know." I said as I walked away. I heard the girl criticizing me. I giggled, wondering if I should do something about them.
I arrived to school with four entrance. Each was for the blue, green, red, and yellow section. I walked to the red section, confused of the weird school. There was a gate, two people looking at the student I.D. When they got to me, they held out a hand.
"What?" I asked.
"Your student I.D." One of them said.
"I'm a new student here, Evie Senna."
They checked in the clipboard and pressed a button. Three girls in the same uniform appeared from the building. "Yes?"
"Take her to the principle office. She's the new student."
The three gestured me to follow them. They lead me to a huge cabin. The principle was a large, ripped man in a rolling chair.
"Mr. Gordon? The new student has arrived."
The man looked up from the paper and pointed to a chair in front of him. I sat down, while the three left. "Evie Senna, am I right?"
"Yes, sir."
