Levi Reece Fitzgerald, also the center of an unhealthy life. Not the same as mine though. Equally awful, but drastically different. Levi came from a good home, two parents who were very financially stable and had busy jobs; they were always hustling from one place to another. They dwelled in a gigantic, brick, castle you could say. It was furnished with the finest of leather furniture, mahogany detailing and had just around 57 rooms. Everything from a Library to a tea room to a study. A shame it was, that no one was ever there to use any of it. Levi was an only child and his parents were often away on trips for work. Here to there, this state, that country. Therefore, Levi had a nanny. Josephine, such a lovely name for a careless, reckless, repugnant lady.
The well being of Levi was left in her hands ever since he was 3 years old and his parents could no longer take him on their trips. She attempted taking care of him, until he was six, then pretty much left him to fend for his own. Josephine breezed by every so often to make sure he wasn't dead, oh and also to pick up her check. Josephine wasn't the only one who left him in the dust. His parent seemed to consider him a lost cause. They would visit every month for a few years, then every few months, then every once in a great while, then once a year, once every other year. Then, never. The visitations had completely stopped by the time Levi was 8. All their trust was instilled into Josephine who seemed like a great nanny to them because she was always sure to be around when they stopped by.
Levi was neglected, treated like a pet or more so; a pest. He was only fed and made sure he was alive. Not even checked on by his parents. No phone calls, letters, nothing. If there was any connection between Levi and his parents, it was completely gone. Levi was healthy and Josephine kept food in the house, made sure he had what he needed, and kept at least an eye on him. He had what he needed, but never what he wanted. Love, affection, and to be wanted by someone. To have someone who was scared of losing him. Someone who cared for him as more than just a way to get a paycheck. He had no one.
