"I can't believe how nice the room is!" I yell to Liam from the baby's room. "I know! Dinner is almost ready, Love!" Liam yells back. I smile at the crib, but then look down as I feel something running down my legs. I stare at my maternity jeans.. Did I pee?  "Ouch!" I grasp the crib railing. "Liam!"

"What's wrong?" He runs into the room. "The baby's coming!" I tighten my grip on the railing. "Didn't you just turn nine months?" He runs around the flat, trying to find the bag we packed for the hospital. "Two weeks ago!" I waddle to the front door. I notice Liam left the stove and oven on. I go turn them off. We don't need our flat to burn down. I see Liam run back out with his phone held up to his ear by his shoulder. "The baby is coming!"

"The baby is coming!"

"The baby is coming!"

"The baby is coming!"

"Mum! Dad! The baby is coming!"

"Jen! The baby is coming!"

Liam puts his phone away and sees me at the front door. "Oh! Good! Lets go! The boys and grandparents are on their way." Liam helps me into the car and Liam speeds away to the hospital.

"It's okay. We will be there soon." Liam holds my hand. "Okay." I grab the car door as I feel more pain.  I can see grabbing will be a thing.. "Breathe, Love, breathe." Liam takes the turn into a parking spot. He gets out, swings the bag over his shoulder, and helps me into the building.

Liam didn't even have to say anything. They just saw me holding my stomach and rushed me to a room.

The doctor comes in when I'm getting poked by needles. "Hello. Lets see how you're doing."

I'm so glad my doctor in London is a woman. "You're only 2 centimeters."

"How am I supposed to make it to ten?" I groan. "It takes time. That's what child birth is." She tells me, leaving the room. The nurses follow, leaving me and Liam alone. "I'm sorry." Liam frowns. "For what?" I ask. "I'm the one who got you pregnant. And now you're in pain." He says.

"It doesn't matter. This pain is going to give us a baby. Our son." I manage a smile. He smiles back, then four boys slowly walk into the room. Well three do. Louis runs in with a smile. "How are you?"

"I've been better. It's gonna be a while until the baby gets here." I tell them. "Aw. But now we can go buy some gifts for our nephew!" Louis says. I smile, "Oh, okay. They do have me on something that will dilate me quicker."

"Ugh. I'm gonna be sick. Do I have to be in here when the baby is being born?" Harry asks. "No." I laugh. "Did the word 'dilate' make you sick?"

Harry nods, excusing himself to go buy gifts. Everyone else goes too.

~ 4 hours later ~

I can't take it. It hurts way too much. I'm finally 8 centimeters and Liam's parents arrived. They are in the waiting room with the boys since my doctor is checking me again. "Okay, in about an hour or less, we'll be able to push." My doctor gets up from the stool in front of me. The doctor leaves again.

"One day I'm gonna have a serious talk with our son about how much pain he put you through." Liam dabs a wet cloth on my head. "Please do." I close my eyes. "I can't do this. It hurts too much, Liam."

"I know. I'm sorry. Only one more hour, Love." Liam says.

~

The boys and Liam's parents are back in the room, but the need to leave again, because the doctor told me I could start pushing. They all wish me luck and go back out to the waiting room. Too bad my mom won't be here with me...

"Okay, you ready?" My doctor sits back in front of me. I nod. "Love, when you push, you can squeeze my hand to ease the pain if you want." Liam tells me. With that, I grab his hand and start pushing. "Ow."  I hear Liam quietly say. I push until I absolutely can't push anymore.

"One more big push and your baby boy will be here." The doctor tells me. I give one final push and smile when I hear my baby's first cry.

A nurse quickly takes him away to clean him up. My doctor tells me I don't need stitches. The baby didn't do much damage. I slowly sit up, and Liam kisses my forehead. The nurse comes back and places the baby in my arms. "7 pounds, 8 ounces." Liam tells me.

And he didn't do damage? Oh. I know why. Liam damaged me enough.. You know. ;)

I look down at my son and see a huge resemblance to his dad. "He looks just like you."

Liam smiles at my comment.

"Here, Dad." I slowly hand over our baby to him. Liam's smile gets bigger once he gets a good look at his son. "What are we going to name him?"

I close my eyes to think for a while. I open my eyes back up. "Dylan?"

Liam is still smiling and nods. "Dylan."
