It had been five years since Bill and I where engaged, and on the night we married we decided we wanted kids. "Now will you say it?" He would ask me. "Say what?" He laughed. "The saying I would make you say when you wanted your way." He brought his face closer to mine. "I love you Bill so much and I'm happy I'm pregnant with your children." Bills jaw dropped open. Surprise! "W-What?" I tapped his head. "How long does it take the numb skull brain of yours to get the message? Hellooo? Your a daddy now. I'm pregnant." Bill scooped me up in his arms and kissed me, and he looked happier then the day we got married. "Alright, what little suckers are we looking at taking care of?" He bent down. Sigh. "I'm only a month pregnant. Don't expect anything yet." I began to walk away to make dinner. "Oh yeah, Billy Daddy?" He chuckled and looked over at me. "You better start thinking of names. We're having twins. It's a boy and girl." Bill walked up to me and nuzzled me in the neck with his nose. "Well they ain't coming anytime soon, I'll tell you that." "I could help the process go faster." "Don't you dare. You could hurt the babys." He leaned down and kissed me, and I knew this was gonna be a long time.
"So is that a no on letting me help you?" I rolled my eyes at him. "Yes. You cannot help me. But just name them once they're here, ok?" Bill was silent and then nodded his head yes. "I'm worried because I killed my mother in the process of birth, and I don't want that to happen to you." Bills eyes where wide with fear. "Bill. Honey. Nothing is gonna happen. I'll be ok." And just like that I walked into the room that now Bills story scared me. I didn't wanna die.
They called Bill in to see, and- something went wrong. Horribly wrong. I took my knees up to my chest and cried silently. "[y-y/n], what happened dear?" Bill took my hand as I sniffled. "Only one m-made it..." The blood in Bills face drained out. "No..." "I'm sorry, Mrs.Cipher, but only the boy made it. We truly are sorry." The doctor came out. "What is it that you want to name him, Mr and Mrs Cipher?" I exchanged a glance with Bill. I carried these damn things for nine months and only One comes out. I'll at least let Bill name our kid. He sucked in a breath of air."[f/n] [m/n] Cipher."
The doctor nodded and gave us everything back. "Bill..." "Yes?" "We're never having kids again." Bill laughed and kissed me on my head. "I love you, [y-y/n]." "I love you too, Bill."
