Chapter 2: Caught

I woke at the sound of someone knocking on the door to where I was sleeping. I was in the Mystery Shack again. Thanks, Bill."[y-y/n]? Are you awake?" Dipper knocked on the door. I groggily got up and moaned. "Yeah, Dipper. I'm awake. I'll come down in a little bit." I hid the necklace Bill gave me under my shirt so that only the skinny silver chain was showing.

As I came downstairs in the kitchen, Mable was eating breakfast with Waddles (her pig) beside her. Dipper was reading from that weird six fingered journal, and Stan was sitting down reading the news paper. "Good morning everyone..." I said tiredly. "Hey there, sleepy head! Good morning [y-y/n]!" Uncle Stan bellowed. I smiled as I took the mug of coffee sitting next to the coffee machine and sat across from Mable. She must have saw the silver chain around my neck, because she stopped and put down her fork and pointed at my neck. "What's that-thing-around your neck?" She asked. "Oh, this? It's just a gift my parents gave me before I left." I slid my fingers up and down the chain while I sipped my Coffee. "Can I see the charm on it?" I froze. Does she know about Bill? Sigh. I don't want to let her know. I put my coffee down and stood up. "I'm gonna get ready, I'll be taking a hike today." This was merely my excuse to see Bill. Just as I started walking away, Mable ran up in front of me and pulled the necklace out from under my shirt. She gasped. "D-Dipper..." Her face looked horrified. "What is it, Mable?" He looked up from his book. "You need to see this..." Just as Dipper got up, I broke free of Mable's grasp and ran to my room and locked myself in.

About an hour later, I somehow pulled myself together and got dressed. Black ripped booty shorts and a black and yellow plaid t-shirt with black Converse high tops. I grabbed my back pack and filled it with snacks and water and a few other things I would need for my so called 'hiking trip'.

As I ventured deeper into the forest, I could have sworn that I heard footsteps behind me, but every time I looked back, there was nothing there. I found the biggest willow Bill told me about, which was now different shades of a beautiful green and pink. I smiled as I pulled the leaves out of the way to sit near the trunk. I sat down and took off my back pack, rummaging through it and eventually found my iPhone (it's a iPhone 5s, INCASE your wondering) and some white earbuds. I sat against the tree trunk and pulled out my necklace and laid it on my shirt so it was visible. I started listening to Twenty One Pilots and pulled out a bag of chips. Just as about the third song I was listening to was about to end, I looked up and saw Bill.
