GM: Jasmine baby wake up we have a busy day today.

Grandma Mona says trying to wake me up. I heard her but I just groaned. She tries shaking me gently but I still laid there.

D: I can wake her Grandma Mona
GM: Ok baby
The door closed after that so I rolled on my back. Only to get sat on my belly by Jasmine who began to jump
J: Ok I'm up I managed to murmur
D: You can go in the bathroom and do your thing while I pick out some clothes for you
J: Ok big head
D: Whatever
While I was in the shower after I brushed my teeth Diamond came in and brought me the clothes she picked out for me. She picked out my favorite yellow T-shirt with my black jeans and my Air Jordan Retro 14s

D: Aye you got to let me borrow your shoes naw not even your whole closet
J: Girl get out
D: Whatever all I know is whatever you have is mine

I laughed and got out the shower once she left I put on lotion and deodorant just like my mom taught me. Then I got dressed and sprayed myself with body spray. I combed my hair down so the curls can just fall down my back. I got my pajamas and left the bathroom. I went back into my room made up my bed and placed the pajamas on top folded. Then I headed down to the kitchen.

GM: Ohh look at my baby I'm so glad your here I missed you
J: I missed you too Grandma Mona. Good Morning everybody

"Good Morning Jasmine" everyone replied

GP(Grandpa Peter): Ok Mona stop babying the girl and share out the food
GM: How about you hush old man
GP: This old man still got moves tho!
Kendra: Ok you two!

Grandpa Peter was dancing around happy that he won that argument. Everyone went into the dining room where Grandma had blueberry pancakes, eggs, grits, bacon, sausage, waffles, milk, apple juice and orange juice displayed on the table. Everyone sat around the table and held hands to say grace

GM: Why don't you say grace today Jasmine

Jasmine: Everyone bow your heads...

For food in a world where many walk in hunger;
For faith in a world where many walk in fear;
For friends in a world where many walk alone;
We give you thanks, O Lord. Amen

GP: Beautiful prayer Jasmine at least your mother kept you in the light of the lord. That's one of the things she actually did right

GM: Peter you leave Kendra alone! That's the last time I'm telling you that

GP: I'm sorry Kendra I just can't believe you let that.. Never mind it's a new day leave the past in the past.

Kendra: Thank you

We all enjoyed the breakfast Grandma Mona cooked for us. Then Diamond and I washed up the dishes and got cleaned up to go shopping.

GM: You girls ready ?
"Yes Grandma Mona" we replied

Kendra: Here is some money Jasmine just in case you see something other than school clothes that you want.

J: Thanks mom be safe love you
K: I love you too baby

I waved to her as I left with Diamond and Grandma Mona. We got in the car and drove to the mall. Once we got out the car we headed in to the uniform store. Grandma tried to get me to wear these ugly ass uniform dresses and some shiny ass black flats it wasn't going down. Diamond and I picked out a few uniform shirts with the school logo on it and a few uniform pants and skirts. Grandma had to get our panty hose the way she put it, but we know them as stockings. After we paid for our clothes we went into footlocker. Since I'm wearing uniform I stayed with primary colors while Diamond tried to look like a damn rainbow talking about "I need to stand out!" I laughed and continue looking at the shoes. I got only four pairs because I didn't want to spend all the money my mom gave me but Grandma Mona paid for half of my stuff and half of Diamond stuff. We left the store shortly after that. I was kind of tired from carrying all of those bags but we still didn't get school supplies or my book bag and tomorrow is when I go to school. We went to Aeropostale because I wanted a few jackets and a book bag. Diamond and I got matching book bags and jackets. Then we left the store and went to Walmart to get some supplies.

The line was soooo long. So Diamond and I decided to walk around the store.

Diamond: Want to go play with the toys.
J: Sure. It's better than waiting in this line. Grandma Mona we will be right back ok?
GM: Ok don't go to far because I'm not coming to look for y'all I'm going home.!

We head to the toy aisle

Hak: Aye Jasmine and Diamond

We run when we seen Hakeem running towards us. When we got to the end of the aisle we split because Hakeem can't catch both of us. Hoping he would chase after Diamond he jets my way.

J: Damn !

I tired to lose him but I got tired of running and stopped to catch my breath.

Hak: You trying to run away from me ma?
J: I... I...
Hak: Damn catch your breath

A minute later

J: Why are you staring at me?
Hak: Making sure you don't have an asthma attack or something.
J: I wouldn't if you had never had chased me
Hak: Your ass should have never ran
J: Ok you right you right!
Hak: What you doing here anyway?
J: Getting school supplies
Hak: Me to. But about yesterday I really want to walk you home Tiffany just I don't know man she just craves for my attention
J: You good I'm not even worried about boys right now. I need to get my grades right
Hak: So if I ask you to be my girl you would say no
J: Yup. But I need to get back to Diamond and Grandma Mona so bye Hakeem

I walk away from him and went to the car where Grandma Mona and Diamond unloading the groceries from the cart into the trunk of the car. Damn she really was going to leave me. After we finished we went to McDonald's and I got a Oreo Mcflurry with French fries. Diamond got a whole meal with her fat self. When we got back to the house I grabbed my bags and went into my room to hang up the clothes and get ready for tomorrow.

So tomorrow they will be in 6 grade
