"Oh Jasmine look at you. You look so much like your mother. My grand baby finally home in my arms she safe and she's healthy." My Grandpa Peter said to me.
"And you Ms. Kendra Jones I raised you better than this. How can you sit there and have this man that supposedly love you, as he says he does hit you like that in front of my grand baby? We raised you better and stronger than this how the hell you work at the court house and can't get help for yourself? You was a damn marriage counselor for god sake, you can make decisions for someone else's marriage but, not yours. Now the real question is are you going to tell the judge for the past two years this man was abusing you or do you still love him?" My grandpa said viciously to my mom. She put her head in her hands and said yes a little too quietly. "The way you said that I don't believe you one bit but, I am going to ask is he worth it? Because what he did to you he can always do to another" Grandpa Peter said to my mom in disappointment.
