Natalya looked at the smaller girl in front of her. She seemed to be so thankful, that she had invited Natalya to the grand opening of her new bakery.

"Oh. You own a bakery?"

Lili beamed. Natalya could've sworn that it got brighter in their booth.

"Yes! It's going to open next week! My brother and I bake, and we decided that opening a new bakery here would be a good idea. It took most of our savings, though. It's the only thing we own right now. Although we've both been sleeping behind the counter, I'm still pretty excited! I believe that this shop is going to be the best thing that's going to happen to us!"

Natalya couldn't help but smile. Lili seemed to see the best in everything. An optimist.

"Hey Lili, how old are you? You look pretty young, considering you bought a bakery with your brother."

Lili smirked.

"I'm 22. Surprised?"

Natalya nearly spat out her coffee. Lili was 22? She looked like she was fresh out of High School!

Lili giggled at her expression.

"Yeah. I get that a lot. Can I guess your age? You look 19-ish."

Natalya shook her head.

"No, I'm 23. I guess I'm only a year older than you."

Lili blinked.

"Oh! I guess a thing we have in common is that we both look pretty young!"

Lili took a sip of her coffee and then nearly sprang out of the booth.

"Oh my gosh I just remembered that Vash wanted me back at two!"

Natalya glanced at the clock and saw that it was already 1:30.

"Oh I should probably leave now. It takes me a while to get back to the bakery from here.."

Lili took out her wallet again, and gave Natalya the address to the bakery and her phone number.

"You'll come to the opening, right?"

Natalya nodded. Normally, she would avoid parties as if they were the plague, but, for some weird (small and blonde) reason, she wanted to go to this one.

Lili finished putting on her coat, and hugged Natalya.

"I can't wait to see you there!"

Natalya watched as Lili waved, and then exited the coffee shop. The booth seemed darker now, empty without the pretty girl. Natalya had only three things in her head: that Lili was the personification of the sun, that Lili smelled nice, and that she would be at that Bakery's opening.
