I sat in silence looking at my laptop screen. Sold out in less than a minute? How? I know they are popular but I just couldn't believe the show sold out as fast as it did.

After a few minutes, I closed the laptop and put it back on my desk. I turned my phone on as I sat on my bed and saw that Sal just tweeted. It said: "Our Columbus show just sold out in under 1 minute. I can't explain how happy I am about this. See you guys in a few weeks!" That's when it really hit me that I wouldn't be going to the show. Or meeting them.

I must have fell asleep because mom came in telling me to wake up and go eat. I managed to mumble "I'm not really hungry right now" before I rolled over and went back to sleep.

At 7:30 mom came in my room again. "Britt. You need to come eat. You haven't ate since you have been home." I really hadn't ate since last night at McDonald's, so I kinda was hungry. I dragged myself out of bed and down the stairs to go eat a few bites of chicken.

In the middle of eating mom asked what row I got tickets for. With a fake smile I said, "I got the best seats in the house!" Mom looked so excited. "So you got meet and greets? I bet you are so happy!" Yes. Soooooo happy. I put my head on the table and started to cry. Mom must have realized I was kidding about the tickets. She said, "Britt. Were you really able to get tickets?" I shook my head and quietly said, "They sold out in under a minute."

We both sat in silence except for me trying to stop crying. I don't know why I was so upset. Mom got up and hugged me. "It's okay. They will come back soon," she said softly. I got up and went to my room. I turned on my tv. Sure enough, Impractical Jokers was on. I started crying again and cried myself to sleep.
