Johann's point of view*

Sunday

The boys look at me as I have a big smile on my face.

"Ooo looks like Johann's in love!" Richard says.

"Shut up Richardo," Yoandri adds. "Wait are you in love?"

"Maybe," I shrug.

Last night I had a dream about Ella. We were together at the beach and we were swimming. If only that was reality.

"Aye Joli," Yoandri says snapping his fingers in front of me.

"¿Que?"

"You're daydreaming again," Yoandri responds.

"Perdon pero hay alguien en mi mente quien no sale," I explain.

"Es esa chica que estba en el restaurant ayer," Yoandri replies.

"Si," I blush.

Ella's lately been in my mind and I've been daydreaming a lot.

"Johann, you should ask her out!" Yoandri says eagerly.

"What if she says no?" I whine.

"Just ask her out!" He says trying to encourage me.

"Ok fine," I groan.

I turn on my space grey iPhone and tap on my messages. Carefully I type a message trying to not make any mistakes.

Johann💕: hey Ella 😌

Ella🌙: hey johann wyd?

Johann💕: just hanging out with my friends😂 u?

"Johann get some!" My friend Joel says looking at my messages.

"Joel stop!" I yell shooing him away.

"Ok ok fine," he backs away and I lock my phone.

5 minutes. 10 minutes. 15 minutes.

"Ugh," I groan.

"¿Que pasa?" Yoandri asks.

"Ella hasn't texted me back."

"Dude it's summer, she's probably hanging out with her friends."

Ella's point of view*

"Ella, so what's up with that guy you've been texting with?" Angel, my best friend says grabbing my phone.

"Angel stop!" I yell yanking it out of her hands.

"Esta bien, pero dime quien ¿Es este Johann? He better not be a fuckboy," she responds.

"He's this really cute guy who I met at that burger joint," I explain turning on my phone. "Oh shit I didn't see his text, he sent it 15 minutes ago."

I immediately text back Johann's text message.

Ella🌙: same my annoying friend took my phone away from me. Sorry🙄

"I am not annoying!" Angel says.

"Are too!" I say laughing.

Johann💕: 😂I have annoying friends too😂 so I was wondering...

"He's gonna ask you out!" Angel squeals.

"I hope so! But I think it's a little too early though," I say with a frown.

Ella🌙: wondering what?

Johann💕: maybe you and your friends should hang out with my friends!😋

"Ugh," I say lying on my bed.

"What?" Angel asks.

"He said he wanted all of us to hang out."

"Oh like Nikki, Melissa, and Marta with all his friends?"

"Yes," I roll my eyes.

"When?"

"I don't know, let me text him back."

Ella🌙: sure when? We could do anytime next week since its summer😌

Johann💕: tomorrow then😊

Ella🌙: perfect 😝 we'll meet up at the burger place :)

Johann💕: Kay see you tomorrow bye☺️

Ella🌙: bye Johann ✨

"We're all hanging out tomorrow, we should tell the rest of the girls," I explain to Angel.

" 'Kay!"

Johann's point of view*

"Guys we're hanging out with Ella's friends tomorrow!" I say eagerly.

"Is Ella the girl you keep texting?" Joel questions.

"Yeah, I can't wait to see her smile, and her beautiful eyes, and her dimples," I say listing everything I loved about her.

"Wow you really are in love aren't you mi Joli?" Yoandri adds.

"Yeah I guess I am."

"That's good you haven't been like this since..." Yoandri adds.

"Since Mariana," I whisper.
