Pitch. Jack's Father?

Finding Jack

( i sadly do not own rise of the guardians or the characters except for Raven )

Jack was walking around the village slightly worried that everyone was going through him and no one was seeing him. Pitch was also in the village spreading fear to some sleeping children as he noticed Jack trying to get peoples attention only to be walked through. Pitch sighed and looked at Jack, his eyes soft.

" yeah. Not the best feeling in the world is it? " pitch said to himself remembering how it feels when kids would run through him.

Jack stopped after a while and walked into an alley before curling into a ball and crying into his knees. Pitch felt what he had and decided to confront Jack.

" so no one sees you either " pitch said calmly, leaning against the wall opposite Jack.

Jack looked up quickly, tears streaming down his face as his eyes widened.

" y-you ca-can see me? " Jack asked, his voice shaky from crying.

Pitch's eyes softened again as he sat down next to Jack.

" yeah. I can. I'm also unseen by them " Pitch said looking up at the moon.

Jack's eyes were still wide as he looked at Pitch.

" y-you mean they walk through you too? " Jack asked curiously as he sniffled a bit.

Pitch looked at Jack and wiped his tears away gently.

" yeah, they do. It's not exactly something I like to talk about. Well if I had someone to talk to that is " Pitch said pulling his hand away from Jack's face.

Jack's eyes widened a bit at the feeling of Pitch's hand. It felt warm surprisingly.

" well i'll talk to you, if you want " Jack said trying to be nice but secretly not wanting him to leave.

Pitch looked a bit surprised at Jack but smiled a bit.

" okay. I'm Pitch, Pitch Black " Pitch said hoping the boy wouldn't get scared off by finding out who he was.

Jack smiled a bit.

" I'm Jack, Jack Frost! " Jack said excitedly.

Pitch smiled and ruffled Jack's hair a bit. Jack looked at him and smiled, his eyes closed.

" I have a castle that I live in. Would you like to stay there? " Pitch asked smiling softly at Jack

Jacks eyes lit up as he smiled brightly.

" sure! " Jack said more excited than before.

Pitch smiled and held out his hand to Jack. Jack smiled and took his hand happily.

" follow me " Pitch said smiling as he walked into the woods to a broken looking bed.

Jack followed Pitch happily and looked at the bed curiously.

" You live under a bed? " he asked slightly confused.

" yeah. In a way its interesting but at the same time annoying. " Pitch said walking over to the bed and lifting it up.

" follow me " Pitch said again as he jumped into the hole under the bed.

Jack raised his eyebrow but followed. Jack went down the hole and was sliding down the hole like a slide. Jack smiled and giggled till he got to the end and stumbled out of the hole and into Pitch's arms.

" careful. You don't wanna get hurt " Pitch said holding Jack up right.

Jack smiled a bit and giggled slightly. Jack noticed a girl sitting on some steps in front of them.

" who's that? " Jack asked looking at her curiously.

The girl jumped a bit in surprise and stood up only to hide behind a nearby pillar. Pitch turned around and realized he was talking about Raven.

" That's Raven. Shes like us. Shes unseen. I met her yesterday but she is really shy and can't talk. " Pitch explained.

" oooohhh " Jack said as Pitch finished explaining.

Raven peeked out from behind the pillar. Jack looked at her and smiled. Raven jumped a bit and hid behind the pillar again. 

" Raven. This is Jack. Be polite and say hello, well wave hello " Pitch said looking at the pillar.

Raven peeked out from behind the pillar and quickly waved hello before hiding again. Jack smiled and giggled a bit.

" Hi! Nice to meet you! " Jack said smiling at the pillar where Raven stayed hidden behind.

Raven peeked out from the pillar again and stood slightly out from behind it. Jack smiled at her. Pitch walked up to her and gently put an arm around her shoulder. 

" Jack. I have a room already set up for her but not for you. Do you mind staying in her room for tonight? " Pitch said looking at Raven then at Jack.

Jack smiled and nodded

" Well if it's okay with her " Jack said politely and kindly as he looked at Raven.

Raven nodded yes and tugged at her hood a bit.

" okay then, its settled. Follow me " Pitch said letting go of her shoulder and walking towards the room.

Raven followed him quietly as she stretched her wings a bit. Jack looked at her wings and followed the two of them.

" so you can fly too? " Jack asked trying to be friendly.

Raven jumped a bit again but nodded yes as she held her staff to her chest. Jack looked at her staff then held up his own.

" I have one too " Jack smiled as he looked at her.

Raven looked over at his staff that was a lot like hers but instead of a crook at the end of Ravens staff there was a jagged end that made it look like a lightning bolt. Jack smiled at her as they reached a door that was all black except with some orange dots on it. Pitch opened the door to reveal a large room with a queen sized bed that had orange sheets with a skeleton blanket. The room also had a large book shelf with different books about different things such as: Wars, food, celebrations, etc. The rooms only light was a small opening in the roof and a small candle lit lamp on a nightstand next to the bed. Pitch, Raven, and Jack all walked in. 

" Whoa. this is really nice " Jack said looking around the room.

Raven and Pitch both smiled a bit at his reaction. Raven flew a little off the ground and sat on the bed. Pitch smiled and sat next to her. Jack hopped onto the bed and sat next to Pitch. Pitch smiled at the both of them and hugged them close. Raven and Jack both hugged him back. 

" Welcome Home " Pitch said happily as he kept hugging them.

( I hope you guys like the new story. and for any curious folk this will not turn into a Pitch x Jack romance. Unless by romance you mean a family love. Well I hope you guys like! Bye! )
