I was so confused. It was only Monday and already, an untimely string of events took place. First of all, Melony, overstepped her boundaries and humiliated me in front of everyone. Then, Bertha, snatched my locket off my neck and handed it to Amy! Don't even get me started on the five bucks that Mel handed to Bertha after she carried out her orders! Also, I figured that discussing what happened to Gregory would help, but no! He stood up for Little Miss Queen Bee, his unbelievably, cruel sibling. How can they be...related?! Gregory is so much better, than she is. Anyway, last, but not least, Amy sobbed her guts out on me. I felt sad for her and to tell the truth, she kinda sorta made me want to forget what she did, but even though I forgave her, I still can't forget.
Mel's little stunt that day ultimately decided something for me. I will never wonder if she has a heart ever again. It's obvious she doesn't!
I walked home in the rain, hoping it would cleanse me of the memories of that day's events, but sadly the dreary weather made me want to cry. So, I did. Nobody was around. It was just me, so every tear I held thatday was released then.
When I arrived home, with a scarlet face from all of the crying, I wasted no time in rushing to my room and shutting the door behind me. I didn't want my parents to see me in this upsetting state. I would cry even more if they made me talk about it. So, I wrapped myself in my feather comforter and hummed a random tune until I fell asleep.
---------------------------------------------
" Grace? Grace! GRACE!", shouted a voice.
I bolted out of the bed and grabbed a pillow, desperately trying to open my half-asleep eyes. " Who is it?!", I shouted, waving the pillow in the air to scare the intruder until my blurry vision went normal.
" Wow! A pillow! Don't hit me too hard!", the voice laughed.
" Gregory! What the heck! You can't knock?!", I hissed as I fell on the bed on my back.
" I did. You didn't answer, sleepyhead!"
" Whatever!"
" What's with you this evening?!", Gregory asked.
" Mel, Amy, and you!", I retorted.
" Me?!"
" Yeah, you! You took your sister's side when she was the one that tormented me!"
" Oh, well,I said it like that because Melony was watching me from her table. She can read lips, you know!", he smirked.
" I don't care! Your sister is a troll! With evil powers!", I snapped.
" Lay off the comic books, nerd!"
" Why is she the way she is?!"
" I don't know!"
" Of course you don't, Gregory.", I groaned internally. Not even my best friend since pre-k knows why his sister since birth is so heartless!
I'M SORRY, I KNOW IT'S SHORT, BUT MORE SOON!!:) COMMENT AND FAN! VOTE TOO!!! THANKS!:))
