Chapter Three: Giving Up

Luca didn't know about her confession for Anton yesterday. She only got told the part about her getting high. Luca wanted to date Anton, even though it wouldn't go well. But she just had to give her dream up, if she wanted to keep her job. And Anton finally acknowledged that they were just friends, nothing else. They both felt weird in their stumachs thinking of each other. And they both had no idea of each others feelings. Luca arrived at work, in her uniform she got yesterday. A purple t-shirt. And then she had some black jeans, and red vans. Her hair was in a bun aswell. He couldn't but notice every move she made, and how she looked. "So which job can I get here?" She asked excited, walking over to Anton. "You could be Anton's assistant!" Dinger said from his booth. "J-just go, wait in my office then!" Anton said walking over to Dinger, looking mad. She then walked down the hallway. "Dude! I don't want to work even closer to her. I have given up on us!" Anton said, still mad. "You and Ian spend way too much time together! Go do it with someone else!" "But she's just my friend!" He said in an annoyed voice. "You liked her yesterday!" "But that was dif-." Anton stopped himself and went into the office with Luca. "So what can I start with?" She asked smiling. Anton felt so sad, that he just felt weird being around her since yesterday. "You can..." Anton didn't need an assistant. All he does is playing games with Ian. Look Anton, you need a friend! Here's your chance! "Welcome to Pork.E.Pines! The place where you a have fun! So, what you do, is to have a great time!" Anton said looking very proud, but also tried to just sound hilarious. Luca just wanted to kiss him, he looked so cute! Luca smiled and thought about her fun, her fun would involve making out with Anton. She hated it, but she just couldn't control her love. It was on a rage! When she saw his beautiful hair, uniform and smile, she couldn't control her thoughts. So then she just hugged him. Nothing else, just a hug. Anton laughed a bit, but enjoyed it! "W-what are you doing?" He asked. "Thanks for giving me this job!" She said. It felt awkward for her, but it was how she felt. And Anton just liked it. But they were friends. Good friends indeed!

t's been a month, with Luca and Anton's 'Just Friends' relationship. It was okay, but still awkward. Luca realised that she needed more than just friends, a boyfriend? She just felt empty. She wanted Anton, but that wouldn't go well. She just needed a boyfriend! Anton didn't need that, he was a guy with friends. So then this happened:
Her and Pete started dating. Even though she just didn't feel comfortable about it. Her heart was still with Anton. But she couldn't say that they should break up. Once Pete confronted her about her not being so into their relationship. He just took her hands. "What's wrong? You don't feel happy!" Pete asked. "I ju-just..." She had to come up with an excuse. "I just don't feel like you love me!" That was the biggest lie ever! He adores her! He gasped, and said. "You know that's not true!" He smiled, and took her chin, kissed her. It was a very long and passionate one! And Anton saw it. The whole crew knew they were dating, and Anton just felt uncomfortable. More than uncomfortable than Luca did. It wasn't true love, at all! And Anton, he felt jealousy! He creeped on them, imagining him and Luca doing the tings they did. After Pete broke the kiss and said, "See!" Luca made a fake smile, and said, "I guess so!" She didn't hate Pete or anything! Like he wasn't annoying. She wanted to date him because they were such good friends. But she just couldn't stop thinking about Anton. It started being winter. And most of the crew got a cold. And every time Anton could give Luca a hot chocolate from their crapped coffee machine, he would. And he would ask really shy. "Hey, um Lu! W-would you like a hot chocolate? Li-like it's okay if you don't want! It's just if, you like want!" And every time, Luca would laugh! But Pete would of course do that too, which bugged Anton! But he had to respect it, it was the only solution.
