Chapter Four: Sick

It was morning in Luca's apartment. Yesterday Dinger told her about the accident the first day. Her kissing thing with Anton. Which just made her feel horrible. Now she definitely couldn't look at Anton the same again. But she actually fucking did it. If she just told him that she liked him, like that time it would all be perfect. But her chance was over. And now she "got" the cold so hopefully she doesn't have to go to work today. She was one of the few employees who haven't gotten one through the winter, but now she got it. She texted Ian, telling him that she couldn't make it. Or that was her lie to Ian. She wasn't sick, only her stomach. She couldn't get to work knowing about the thing between her and Anton. And just her relationship with Pete.

- Sup' dude! I got pretty sick, so I can't come 2 work 2day... Will c if I can make it 2morrow! :-(

- Hope it gets better! But Anton said that he tried to call you, and you didn't answer!

She had to lie to Ian again. She could see that Anton tried calling her. But now she HAD to call him.

"Hey, why wouldn't you answer?" Anton asked worried.
"S-something's wrong with my phone!" Her dumb excuse ended up being about. But it sounded like he believed it.
"Oh, I heard about you being sick. But can't you just come for 30 mins? Please!"
"Fine!" She answered.
"I'll be there in 10!" Luca said.
"Yes! See ya!" He said, ending the call.
She took a deep breath. "I really don't want to see him." She said, talking to herself. But she found some clothing and put on some quick makeup. She didn't really know why she said 'yes'. She just couldn't let Anton down, 'cause he seemed like he really wanted it. She wondered why...

When she arrived she got greeted by Ian. "Hey dude! Do you know why Anton wanted me to go?" Luca asked. "Nope!" Even though Ian knew, but he couldn't tell her. Anton wanted to do something with Luca. When she walked over to Mads and said hi, it happened. Anton's spotlight was about to happen. He agreed with Dinger to make it seem like Anton eat some of Ella's mushrooms. Anton came walking with Dinger running right behind him. "I-I need to tell her something!" "We found an old pizza with Ella's shrooms on! Or he did!" Luca laughed and walked awkwardly away from Anton when he tried to get closer. "No! Get over here! Do you like me Luca?" "Fuck!" She exclaimed queitly. "Um, yeah?" "But do you more?" He said in a hopefully still convincing drugged voice. "Listen! I'm quitting this job! I can't take having it weird between us! So will it matter?" He tried grabbing her hand, but she denied and moved away. "A-are you going to quit just because it got awkward between us?" He asked in a normal voice. She took a deep breath, and answered, "Yes!" "Then let's stop!" Everybody got together as Anton grabbed her cheeks. "Let's do it like the first day!" He kissed her. She wanted to pull out, but couldn't resist. His lips were amazing! It gave her butterflies. She felt warm in her body, and blushed. She could feel him smilling a bit. Anton didn't understand how he did that. And he just felt relaxed. He was so nervous that Luca wouldn't like it. "But this time none of us are high! Or I'm in love!" He said smirking at her. "But the mushrooms?" Luca asked confused. "I'm good at lying!" Luca laughed and kissed him again. She wrapped her arms around his neck. His got around her hips. Everybody started clapping. Even though the restaurant was opened, they still made out in front of small kids. Luca pulled away as she smiled so bright at Anton. It was the cutest smile he knew. "And I'm not sick. I was sick of my love with you!" "W-what?" He asked. "I've been so in love with you! My stumach hurted everytime I saw you. Especially after I knew about my first day accident." Luca answered as she hugged him. She quickly broke the hug and asked, "Where's Pete!?" scared. "He went home! But you should probably tell him!" Lori answered. "Fuck! I probably should! I'm the worst for doing this against him! But that can wait." She smiled at Anton. Anton giggled a bit and grabbed her hand as he squeezed it. "I love you Lu!" "And I love you Anton!" They both said as they kissed again.
Later that day she went over to Pete's house. She knocked on the door, pretty scared. She felt so bad for doing this against her newly ex. "Hey um dude! I'm so sorry for everything that I've done and-" He cut her off. "Not to be rude, but I wasn't in love with you as well. I only did it because you looked lonely! And Lori told me." Pete interupted, it was so sweet. "You're such an amazing friend Pete!" Luca said hugging him. "I know Lu, I know!" They both laughed and remained friends, even better than before.
