The moonlight dances between the branches of the trees further away from the clearing you're in. The trees seemed to mesh together as your eyes made it further into the forest. Darkness. You continue to stand a few feet away from the cabin holding the dead bodies captive, looking into the distance. You're debating walking on and going further into the forest. As the moon reaches its highest peak in the sky, its light kisses your cheek. It turns your face into a pale white color, making your eyes glow. The light seemed to have an effect on you because shortly after this, you began to shake with no control and drop to the ground. You gained control of your body once again. Slowly and cautiously standing up, you glance around the clearing and then into the forest. You then remember the dead bodies lying in the cabin. You turn around slowly, half expecting one of them to be standing behind you, ready to strike at any sudden movements. When you make a full rotation around, facing the cabin, you look through the door. Your heart almost stops. As you look through the doorway of the eerie building, light reflects off of two eyes. They're attatched to one of the lifeless bodies resting in the cabin. The head looks around, acting confused. Then, you shift your weight. The figure notices. It snaps its head in your direction. Its eyes look up and down your body, almost scanning you. You stand completely still. The figure slowly stands, never taking its eyes off of you.
