Tzuyu felt like crying as she carefully closed the front door to her house. This was not supposed to happen. She was supposed to be in her old school, in Taiwan, with her friends, eating food she liked, and enjoying life with her parents. This was not part of the plan. This move was not part of the plan. But JYP Entertainment decided that her poor father, who unfortunately worked for them, was just going to have to move to Seoul, and Tzuyu to their "fancy" private school. She sighed, frustrated, and checked her watch.
"What's this? It's already 7:55, and school starts at 8:00! I'm going to be late! Where is my bus?" She panicked, and glanced around quickly. There was no school vehicle in sight, and she was about run back inside to ask her mom to drive her when a red corvette pulled up to the edge of her driveway.
"Hello, need a ride to JYP High? You look like a student there," A handsome young man rolled down his window and yelled. Tzuyu knew not to take rides from strangers, but she was running out of time. Plus, this man hardly looked like a bum off the street. Her only option was to get in the car, or face detention for being late.
"Uh, yes, I go to JYP High. You go there also, I assume?" Tzuyu meekly asked the Korean man who was overflowing with confidence, as she stepped into the passenger seat of the expensive car.
"Yeah. This is my 3rd year here, I'm a Junior. You look new. Where are you from?" The man casually continued the conversation as he pulled forward into the street.
"I..I used to live in Taiwan, but my dad moved here because he had a job with JYP. I'm also a Junior. By the way, what is your name? And why did you bother picking me up?" Tzuyu prompted the man, confused as to why he was being so kind, and why she suddenly felt nervous.
"Ah, I'm Jungkook, but you can call me Jungkookie," he winked and added, "I picked you up because, well, who could turn down helping out a pretty girl like you? I saw your backpack ad figured I could give you a hand. The bus doesn't pull up to your house, just so you know. It'll pick you up 2 blocks down the street from where you live." He helpfully explained.
This guy sure is bold, and he's cute too. I wonder if he's dating anyone... Tzuyu thought to herself, but then shook her head. She needed to be focusing on school, not her love life.
"Well, this looks like it. Mind if I leave you here?" Jungkook pulled up to the open gate of a magnificently sized building adorned with banners and posters promoting school clubs and activities. Tzuyu's eye's widened in suprise, and she stumbled out of the car, mumbling a quick, "Thank you," to her driver. Mouth agape, she turned back in time to see him drop another wink at her and drive into the parking lot. She turned back towards the school, and soaked it all in with her eyes. The huge brick building looked like it had 7 different wings and would be incredibly difficult to navigate. Her shyness took over as she approached the front steps.
"Hello! New student?" A friendly silver haired girl asked, who was standing on the steps, handing out pamphlets.
"Yeah! My name's Tzuyu. Do you know where the main office is?" Tzuyu asked, amazed by the helpful girl's beauty.
"Yeah, it's right here! See?" She pointed at a spot on one of her pamphlets, then handed it to Tzuyu. "That's a school map. I'm Sana, by the way." The girl flipped her hair and gave a cute smile.
"Thank you so much! Nice to meet you Sana!" Tzuyu smiled back and started to walk up the steps, until she heard Sana call to her.
"Hey just so you know, I'm on the school council, so I'll probably see you around!" Sana yelled to Tzuyu before turning to help another student. Tzuyu once again smiled and made her way through the halls to the main office. On the way, she saw a multitude of personalities, including a cheerleader, a male athlete, and a girl dressed up tough who glared at Tzuyu as she walked by.
