Rap Monster sat in the front seat of his car, holding his head in his hands.
He barely knew this girl. He shouldn't be taking her to his house.
And yet, that was exactly what he was planning to do.
The red-headed girl was slumped over in the passenger seat, looking like she could be a recent corpse.
I have to do something... He consoled himself.
Leaving her here is not an option. Neither is taking her to the hospital.
As much as he wanted to drop her off, safe in the hands of the authorities and trained professionals, he didn't know what the girl had been doing beforehand, and didn't want to get her in trouble.
Maybe she started a fight with someone... Maybe she was on drugs or something and provoked one of the tougher students... Rap Monster tried to convince himself, remembering the countless fights he had been in when he was younger. If any of his friends had told an ambulance to come or called the police, he would have never forgiven them.
This is stupid. I should just take her to the hospital. Why do I think I can deal with this myself? The boy knew the most sensible option, but looking over at the girl, he felt something inside him drawn to her, like a magnet. A need to protect her, to take care of her, to hold her tight and-
Listen, you don't know this girl. You've only seen her a couple times in school, and that was only because Jimin introduced you to her. There is no relationship between you. No reason why you should feel this way.
And yet, he knew he couldn't stop himself.
As he pushed his keys into the ignition lock , he couldn't know for sure if the shiver rolling down his spine was from the rumbling of the engine or the thought of being alone with the beautiful girl next to him.

As the young woman below him's eyes slid open, Rap Monster couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious.
I hope I don't look like a stalker... How long have I been sitting here, watching? He checked his watch. An hour. Wow. I'll pretend I had just walked over to check on her.
"Oh, you're awake," He attempted to causally say, but the words came out in an almost squeak. He swallowed as the girl blinked rapidly, then quickly tried to sit up. She immediatly groaned and fell back down, unaware of her injuries.
"Shh, shh, it's ok. I'm not going to hurt you. Don't worry." He settled the pillow behind her head, making sure she was comfortable.
Letting out another groan, she asked, "Where am I... Who are you..."
"Well, you're on my couch. In my living room. In my house. And I'm, uh, Rap Monster. Remember me? We met a couple times..." Realizing how strange the situation must sound to her, he continued, "I picked you up after you had fainted in the parking lot. I tried to wake you up, but you wouldn't budge. I didn't know if I should take you to the police or not so I..." He trailed off, wishing he had a better explaination for why the girl was sitting in his home instead of a hospital bed.
"No, no, it's ok. I fainted in the parking lot? What happened..." The redhead's hand clutched her head as a rush of memories hit her. "Ugh, I remember now. Sana..." Rap Monster turned his head in concern as he heard the mention of the class president's name. He knew the ruthless girl could only mean trouble.
"You know what, just stay here. I'll make you some food." Rap Monster stood up as to avoid the awkardness that had started to hover around them.
Curious, Mina didn't hesitate to ask a few questions. It's not like she didn't deserve to, after all, she was sitting alone in a random person's house. Might as well get to know her protecter.
