People say I must be stupid
For not defending myself
when the kids
punch
kick
And laugh at me.
I always ask
Why?
They say it's wrong.
Really?
But if it's wrong to leave my stomach
Black and blue,
Then why does everyone laugh along?
How many people will see
a piece of trash of on the street
And pick it up?
How many people will see me getting
My punishment for being
a slit wrist?
a fuck up?
a slut?
a whore?
And help me?
No one.
So is it really wrong?
Are they really wrong?
Or am I?
