Chapter 14

KIMBERLYS POV

I Woke up and saw that it was already 10:50. I overslept. I rushed over to my sink and I saw my face covered with runny mascara. I wiped it off and went over to my closet and picked out an outfit.. I decided to wear skinny jeans with a pink "Diamond Company" Shirt and pink vans. I looked good and my hair was put in a ponytail. Dang how was I going to get there ? It's too far to walk. I texted Aunt Sophie:

K: Can you take me to Starbucks at 11:15 ?

A.S: sure sweetie

K: Thanks c:

A.S: No problem :)

*End of phone conversation*

I ate some froot loops while aunt Sophie got ready to leave. She came downstairs and said

"Lets go"

" Ok" I said grabbing my bag and I walked over to the car and aunt Sophie opened it and we both got in and she drove away.

When we got to Starbucks it was 11:23 already and I didn't see mikey any where.. I went and Ordered a drink and sat at a table. I waited.. it was 11:32 and no,sign of Mikey. Huh why am I surprised ? Wait there walked in Mikey wearing skinny jeans with a Gray Hollister t-shirt that said Hollister in pink. He looked at me then got in line to order. I waved at him and I know he saw me but he just looked away. When he got his drink he came to sit by me.

"Hey" He said

"Hi" I said

"So what do you want to talk about ?" he said plainly..

MIKEYS POV

"So what do you want to talk about? I said trying to act as carefree as I could

"About .. uh.. I actually don't know" she said biting her lip and staring at her cup. "You can leave if you want" she said, her eyes filling with tears..

I got up and sat down next to her and hugged her. She started crying but softly. It was kind of cu- no no no.

"There there" I said softly while I rubbed her back

" Why are you being nice.. I thought you were mad" she said clearly confused

"Well it's not your fault that you lo- Like Vinny.." I said looking at my shoes.. "Its no one's fault really and I decided that I want to be best friends again"
