I woke up to sunlight. Little fucker...he didn't wake me up. Which means he was in my house...in my room...I gulped. I looked down and I was in a t-shirt and shorts. Shit! Did he or did Liz? Did Josh? I have no idea. I scrambled out of bed. I ran down the stairs. Josh was sitting at the table. "Josh! Please tell me that Liz put me in these clothes!" I cried. He looked startled but nodded. Thank The Lord.
I sat down in a chair beside him. He looked at me. "You were dead asleep when he brought you in. There was no waking you up. He said you fell asleep on the way home and he said he didn't want to wake you up so he carried you up to your room." Josh said. I nodded. "You have fun?" He asked. I smiled a bit. "Yeah, I did." He laughed. "I knew you would." I snorted and then smirked. "What about you and Liz?" He scratched the back of his head. "Well, we talked for a bit and I took her out on Jigsaw to check fences and we went to the creek and we came back and ate supper and uh yeah it was fun..." He said. He still looked timid about it all. My eyes widened. "You kissed her didn't you!" I cried. "I hate how good you are at this." He grumbled looking away from me. I laughed. "And?" I pressed. He smiled. "Well, we are gonna be seeing more of each other." I squealed a little bit. "Yay! Finally! You took forEVER!" I said. He rolled his eyes. "Well, I know my night was nothing like yours. What about your bruises? How are they?" He said turning serious. I sighed. "They're getting better should be gone by Tuesday." I said. "Did he ask about the ones he could see?" I shook my head. "No, I think he's too scared to ask but he wanted to so I answered his question anyways and he looked at me like 'how the hell did you know that's what I was thinking?' And I can't believe you told him all of that stuff about me!" I said. He only shrugged. "It was the push he needed to finally talk to you." He said. I looked at him in confusion but his look said that it wasn't his story to tell so I left it. "So...what are we gonna do these two weeks?" I asked. He shrugged. "I had absolutely no idea." I sighed and leaned back in my chair. "Me either." I said softly frowning. I got up deciding to see what was on the chore list. Muck out the stalls, organize the tack room, but groceries, yada yada yada. I sighed. "I didn't see the second half to this list, Josh." I ran a hand through my hair, turning around to look at him. "Might as well get started then." He sighed. We both trudged up the stairs and got ready for "work". I got a call from Travis. "Hello?" I said. "You sleep alright?" I could hear the smile in his voice. "You were supposed to wake me up." I said snorting. "I know. I'm sorry, you just looked so peaceful. I couldn't bring myself to wake you up." He explained. "Well, did you need something?" I asked. "Well, what are you doing today?" He asked. "Some chores our parents left." I said sighing. "Need some help?" "If you want." I shrugged. "I'll be there in 15." He said. "Bye, Travis." I smiled. "See ya." And he hung up. "Travis comin too?" I turned around to see Josh leaned up against the door. I sighed. "Yeah." "You have fun last night?" He asked. I nodded. "Yeah, it was great." "Good." He's acting weird. Oh well. "I wish these two weeks would never end." I said softly. Josh pushed off the door frame and walked up to me. He put his hands on my shoulders. "Don't think about it. Don't worry about it. We can worry when they get back. We can just chill out and be happy and we can cross that bridge when it comes okay?" He said, his eyes boring into mine. I nodded. "Good. Now hurry up. Travis will be here any minute." Nodding I got ready and headed downstairs.

Currently Travis, Josh, and I are sitting on my front porch eating watermelon. We are absolutely drenched, sweaty, tired, slightly grumpy, and happy I guess. Josh decided to spray me with the hose and we got into a water fight, which turned into a mud fight. It was the most hilarious thing I've ever done. But we got the chores done. No need to worry about any of it for the rest of the time. Thanks to Travis because without him, it would've taken at least two more days. I felt something hit my cheek. I jerked out of my thoughts. Swiping my cheek, I frowned upon seeing a black seed. I sighed. Seeing Josh whistling and Travis smiling I took a bite of watermelon and singled out the seeds. Turning to Josh I spat them at him. He shrieked and dropped his slice of watermelon wiping his face in disgust. Travis was rolling with laughter and I had a few seeds left. Hmm, why waste them? He sat up in shock when they hit his face. He looked over at me with playful rage. I gulped, set down my watermelon and dashed towards the barn. "Oh you're gonna get it Ellis!" He shouted at me. I heard my brother laughing, "Run Roxanne!" I was so close to the barn doors! I felt two arms slide around my waist. The grass was still wet from our water fight so we both ended up on the ground. Me under Travis' very, very heavily muscled body. His face was a little closer to mine than it should be, I started freaking out a little. He needs to get off. What if he tries to kiss me? That's the one thing my dad's never done..and I'm glad for it. I realized that I've been staring at him. "Okay you caught me! Now get off fatty!" I called playfully. He pouted. Cute...I mean ugh no! Not cute bad Roxanne! "You really think I'm fat?" He said threateningly. "No sir." I said. "Kinky, Ellis. I like it." He winked. I blushed. Can you say awkward? "In your dreams, Eads. Now get off!" I whined. "Oh you know I'll dream about that." He said, getting up. He helped me up and tapped my shoulder. "TAG! You're it!" And sprinted off. I huffed, and took off after him.
