Kaylee sat down at her desk, writing silently while smiling softly. Her hand swooped and curled, writing in elegant handwriting. A boy with dark brown hair and took the paper from under her hand. "H-hey!" She yelled and stood up. She looked around for the teacher but he wasn't in the classroom. Kaylee turned back to the boy. "Give. It. Back." She growled, emphasizing each word. He shook his head, smirking. He jumped up and stood on top of a desk. He made his voice girly, and he read what she wrote, which was, "My smile is meaningless. My tears are painless. My hands are motionless. I only know, how much less I am. Then the others, which are-" that's where is had to stop writing. He laughed and stuck his tongue out at her. "Loser!" He said. Tears weld up in her eyes. "Leave me alone." She said quietly. She yanked her notebook out of the boy's hands and she stomped out of the classroom. She went up to the office and faced the secretary. She said quietly, "Let me call my mom." The secretary shook her head no. "I'm sorry, I can't let you." She said. Kaylee was silently went behind the desk and started dialing the number on the phone. "Uh, you can't-" Kaylee held her hand up in a way to tell the secretary to shut up. Her mom answered. "Mom, pick me up." She said. "I can't, I'm at work. You know that. The plan was for me to for you to come home and watch the house with your older brother." Kaylee shook her head even though her mother couldn't see her. "No, come and get me." She growled. "I'll see you tomorrow." Her mother said. "No.... No! Your supposed to be there for ME! YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO WAIT ON ME! I'M THE CHILD, NOT YOU! BUT I'M LEAVING ANYWAY! BYYYYE!" Kaylee screamed very loudly in the phone, then picked it up and threw it at the wall, making it break. She then stomped out of the school.
