Kaylee yawned. She tried to move her arm so she could cover her mouth, but she felt a small tug, that was a tad bit painful. She opened her eyes and looked at her arm. The was an I.V. in the inside of her elbow, and it looked like there was a clear liquid in it. She looked confused for a moment, then a look of realization crossed her face. She must have blacked out. She looked around lazily. A nurse came in. When she saw Kaylee, her eyes widened. "Y..Your awake? That's impossible!" Kaylee looked confused. "Huh?" The nurse pushed a button on the wall then looked at Kaylee. "You were in a coma for a year. You woke of for a few weeks, but not really. Your eyes were open, but you didn't know what was going and and couldn't talk. You went back into the coma. You stayed in that one for another year. The only reason we kept you on is your mother wouldn't answer our phone calls, and we have to have the parents consent." Kaylee blinked, observing this new information in her mind. "That means.. I'm nine years old?"
The nurse shook her head. "Ten. Today's your birthday." The nurse had a pity face on. "This.. Is not humanly possible." Said a man at the door. Kaylee looked all around her. "Where's my mom?' The man smiled a sad smile. "We don't know."
