The boy and girl now women and man, jumped back in surprise. The women hid on her side of the tree while the man hid on his side. Slowly and curiously the reappeared to one another. Both on there own sides, they just stood by one another and stared. The man looked at the women she was so bright to his eyes he became frightened by the light and slunk back an little. But from her a warmth he never felt before he felt almost calm. The women looked at the man his dark appearance frightened her but a calming peace came from him . The man reached out to see if she was really emitting the warmth but she slunk back he noticed that if he reached towards her.Her hand had turned grey, but his hand turned light. She smiled up at the man and sat down and grew a flower by his side. The man slowly sat down and reached for the flower but it wilted. For many days they would meet and she would try to give him plants and he tried to give her winds and cold but the plants would die and the winds turned warm. One day the women made for him a wolf one of pure white secretly she added a pice of her soul and heart into it , the man was apprehensive because the women did this the day before and the gift to him became a skeleton of what it was. But when he reached out the wold did turn to a skeleton but the pice of the women's heart created a soul in the animal and he had a companion he could always have with him. Many moons pasted as the women did this for the man putting her soul and heart into her creations and sending them to him so he wouldn't be as lonely. The man gave her something of his own creation that could not hurt her; he created snow and gave it to her so for a short time it would be as cold as him but become warm again.
This is how they filled the world both with there gifts to one another, life would send death her gifts and he would keep them forever and death would send his to leave a small impression of himself.
For many years they did this dance and exchange and to this day they still do.
