I get to my feet and rub my head. I feel a little bump from when I tumbled down the stairs. I look around trying to find anything that I can use for light in this pitch black cellar. I reach around in front of my face an find a metal pull string. I pulled it but nothing happened. "Damnit the lights burnt out." I start crawling on the ground rummaging through piles of tools and dirt. I find this cylinder shaped object. I pull it out of the pile, slide the switch and hit it a couple times and a light appears. I look around the cellar looking to see what was around me. There was a couple of meat freezers so I walk over there to open one up to find a dead body lying in the freezer. I scream and slam the freezer shut. "I'm definitely not looking in any of the other freezers." I say to myself. I hear him walking up stairs in the kitchen and I hear running water. "I wonder what he's doing?" The water shuts off and I hear the sound of opening cabinets and shutting a couple times. Then I hear him sharpening something and I already what he's doing. I hear a cabinet slam shut and the floor creaking everywhere he walks in the house. He opens the basement door and through a down a piece of bread and a water bottle. "I guess he doesn't want me to die." "Why did he do this in the first place?" I asked myself. I find a tiny window way in the corner of the basement I run over to it, it was open just a crack. I hear a truck pull up and I hear someone get out of it. I hear faint talking almost like whispering. I hear two men screaming at each other and then a loud groan. I didn't know what was going on so I tried to look out the tiny window but it was too high up. I heard the front door open and slam shut. Then the basement door opens and I heard a loud thud and see something tumbling down the stairs. It was a man with a blue hat on and a blue button up shirt with the logo, Carpeting and Flooring co. on the right side of his chest. I see blood pouring out of the middle of his chest. His eyes are staring right at me and he whispers, "help" as he takes his last breath I shut his eyelids and tears start flowing out of my eyes. I crawl to the corner looking out the tiny window thinking what my life would b like if I never got out or if no one ever rescued me.
