Turning back time

Have you ever wished, you could go back and change a moment that changed your life forever? Well at this moment I did. I had been asleep for about five minutes when I heard it. A shattering window, the sounds of paws thundering up the stairs and then silence. I was curled up in Banes arms shaking hoping it wouldn't go after Macy. But apparently the world was against me in that moment as I heard the door to her room fall to the floor with a bang. I jump struggling to get out of Banes arms to go and save Macy. " let me go" I hiss struggling even harder. Bane's grip never loosened " you can't go up against a wolf you'll get yourself killed" he whispers in my ear " so I should let my best friend in the whole world that I've known since I was two die!" I whisper harshly kicking and thrashing and doing everything possible to escape him. All of the sudden Macy's scream echoes through the old empty house . I stop ,my heart hammering as tears stream down my face. " Macy!" I cry struggling even more as another scream tears through her. Bane lets go of me, before I can even get up he's out the door. " hey you! Bet you can't catch me" Bane taunts swearing as the wolf takes the bait. I creep out the door just in time to see Bane run out the door the wolf hot on his tail. I rush into Macy's room, as soon as my eyes land on her I pale. There's blood everywhere, her neck had been bit and the blood was coming out of it fast. Macy had her hand pressed up to her neck trying to keep blood in. I rush to her side taking off my shirt I tie it around her neck to keep pressure on it. "Your gonna be fine Mace don't worry" I tell her petting her hair down. I pull out my phone and call my dad. " hello" he answers on the first ring. " Dad! I-it's Macy the wolf it attacked her she's losing blood fast what do I do?!" I yell frantically into the phone.

" Charlotte honey calm down "

" I can't! My friend was attacked by a wolf while she was sleeping peacefully!"

" how did the wolf get in?!"

" I don't know a window smashed and oh my god!"

" okay okay I'll be there in a minute"

I hang up my phone " don't worry Macy helps on the way" I could see the panic and sadness in her eyes " this is all my fault!" I sob " I shouldn't have come here I should have just gone straight home but no I had to do the dare!" Macy tried to speak but it just came out in a weak whisper. I sob holding on to her with dear life. "Don't fall asleep Macy come on stay awake please stay with me" I hold on to her neck to put more pressure on her wound her breathes coming out rapidly."Macy it's all my fault" I whisper sobbing into my best friends shoulder. After a while I finally notice that my phones ringing, " hello" I croak " Charlie is Macy ok?" My dads voice is filled with worry " she's still breathing please hurry" I say.

" the ambulance should be there in a few minutes in the mean time tend to her wounds " he says

" okay I'll go get the first aid kit a see what's in there" I tell him " bye" I hang up

"Macy keep breathing, fight I'll be right back" I tell her before flying down the stairs, I head into the kitchen hoping my hunch was right. Sure enough the first aid kit was on the counter, " thank god!" I yell grabbing the first aid kit. I rush back up the stairs feeling Macy for a pulse I sigh in relief she's still alive, I pull out the supplies grabbing gauze and wipes. I take my shirt wrap it around her neck to add pressure to the wound, I take a wipe a clean the excess blood away my hands shake as I do it. Finally I put a gauze on and wrap her neck in roll bandaging. I hear growling from out side and look out the window. I see a the grey wolf and a black wolf staring each other down, the black one is much bigger then the grey one both have an aura of power. " Macy there are two" I turn to her she blinks " wolves the evil bastard and a black one" I turn back watching the wolves. The grey one lets out a feral growl, while the black one who I've decided to name coco, gets into an attack position.

Banes P.O.V

I'm so stupid I should have gotten up and killed this bastard. But no that damn girl my instincts told me go fight but my heart said stay. There's something about that girl.

After hearing her friend scream I knew I needed to step into action, as soon as I left the room I knew Charlie was up on her feet before I ran down the stairs and now I'm here.

I shift into my black wolf growling at Fredrick, " you came back, you were going to finish what you started 150 years ago!" I shout through the mind link at him he growls glaring at me with hate " your father left the war he left and settled on this god forsaken farm just so his family wouldn't have to live without him! Well" he snickers" I took care of that didn't I, but you out smarted me making me think you were dead but clearly I was wrong and of course my bite was contagious you and only you were turned from a Lycan bite, the first alpha my ass I was but nobody thinks of me I'm just the big bad wolf!" He sneers, I crouch low in a position to lung while he rants. His eyes flicker to the ground for a second and I attack tearing a chunk out of his side. He yelps in pain before it turns into a feral growl, he lunges but I dodge. Turning around I pull his leg out from under him making him hit the ground hard. I take the opportunity to stand over him biting and shaking his neck till he goes limp. I look up at the window and see Charlotte standing there staring at me awe and terror etched on her features.

I quickly run into the forest, shifting back into my human form ,I grab the clothes that I keep hidden for emergencies and head towards the house. As soon as I enter I smell blood, I dash up the stairs and enter the room where Macy is. " Macy stay with me!" I hear Charlotte tell her friend. I walk towards the bed taking in Macy's state, I notice something tied around her neck, a t-shirt? Charlotte must have noticed me staring, " it's my shirt I need something to stop the bleeding" she shrugs, its then I finally notice her appearance, her hair is all messy, her eyes are red and puffy from crying, there's blood on her hands and some smeared on her face, she's in her bra. I make my way towards , her pulling her into a hug. " I'm so sorry this is all my fault I should've got out as soon as he got in I'm sorry char" I whisper holding her close " forgive me" when she doesn't answer I tighten my hold, my inner wolf screaming for her to answer he feels protective of her for some reason. " Bane" she squeaks " can't breath!" I loosen my hold " I forgive you but is she gonna be okay?" Her voice is soft, I left her go and go to Macy. I take off the t shirt and look at her wounds. He only bit her so she would scream ,not to kill her " she'll need stitches but that's all maybe a few needles but other then that she should be back to normal in a few days" I tell her, standing up straight she runs into me hugging me tight " thank you thank you! If you didn't distract him it could have been worse" I smile and hug her back she's so small compared to me I love it.

CHARLOTTE P.O.V

Being in Banes arms is comforting and after telling me that Macy will be okay I can barely stop smiling she'll live I'll still have my best friend! " no hanky panky!" I hear Macy say as loud as she can I start laughing " mace we are just hugging! Plus you know me I like them nerdy" I say sending her a wink. Bane chuckles, and Macy makes a weird laugh/coughing noise. " why are you in your bra?" She asks looking from Bane to me accusingly, I put my hands up" I used it to put pressure on your wounds" she grins " I know".

After five minutes I hear sirens in the distance and cheer. " they're coming finally!"
