The day was going by slowly since all me and Macy were doing was sitting around watching tv or playing just dance so it went by pretty slowly. By time it was nearing the the barbecue I was bored to death. " Charlie get ready!" Macy yelled at me for the 6th time " ugh fine" I say rolling off the bed and grabbing the beige strapless dress Macy loaned me i hop in the shower for 10 minutes just to make me smell pretty. After hopping out I put on the dress and look at myself in the mirror. As soon as I see myself I make a face " I was a girl yesterday and your making me a girl today!" I yell at at her through the door she giggles " oopsey" I sigh and walk out hair dripping wet still she glares at me before sitting me down and putting my hair into an intricate braid once she's done she points at the make up she has.I grab vanilla lip gloss put it on and I'm done. I look natural and comfortable not like other girls like Macy who put on lots of make up. Macy rolls her eyes and hands me my boots I grin at her she knows me so well.

After Macy's parents are dressed we head out, it's only a 20 minute drive from their place to Adams. Macy and I sing poorly to the radio the whole ride. " well I've been blessed by the grace of southern charm I got a mouth like a sailor while yours is more like a hallmark card" we yell Miranda Lambert's song. By time we arrive my voice is gone but Macy still has hers " haha you human" she teases I stick my tongue out at her " alright now girls behave no running around like crazy or saying weird thing be proper ladies" Barbra tells us before disappearing into a crowd of people. I see Adam walking this way and blush " well I'm gonna see what old Thomas is up to you two have fun now" Macy says with a wink. I stand there awkwardly as Adam comes to me he fixes me with a dazzling smile " hi how are you?" He asks i motion toward my throat and make a motion that I can't talk " how'd you manage that?" He laughs at me I mock frown but end up laughing myself well kinda it was more just shaking and smiling " singing" I manage to croak out he nods " more like yelling I bet" he says I give him my innocent grin and shake my head. Just as he's about to speak another voice interrupts but it's not anyone around us it's in my head oh dear ' he's so handsome can you please just jump his bones now and save the trouble for later?' The female voice says 'um no' I say 'who are you?' The voice sighs 'I am maya your wolf we will be officially one after sunset and your fate will begin' maya says in a mystical tone 'sweet' Is all I can think to say before I tune back into Adam " Charlotte are you okay?" He asks I guess I zoned a bit "yeah but um my ah wolf is in my head it's a little creepy and she's slightly annoying" I whisper Adams mouth drops before it turns into a grin " I'll go get you some clothes you can rip" he says before running off. I sigh I miss Bane ever since meeting him it's like something in me wants to be with him all the time.

'I know You wish he was our mate and I'm sorry he's not for your sake' Maya's sad voice comes ' Adams wolf is sweet just like his human side so please give him a chance'

'Its alright I guess I'll get use to it I mean maybe it's just my human emotions getting in the way " I say " he seems nice and I guess I'll listen to what you say"

' good' she says before going silent

When I tune back in Adams right in front of me " here put on this cotton dress" he says holding out a purple dress it's nice I guess. I grab it and throw it over my head then drop the beige dress " done" I grin Adams frowning " you should know that wasn't very proper for a future Luna" he says I sigh " oh right the Luna so the alpha female type thing got it won't happen again" he smiles " good" he pulls me into him and kisses my cheek sending tingles through my body. " come on the Bon fires starting" Adam says pulling me towards a huge field behind his house. It was beautiful wild flowers everywhere and then a huge fire in the center. When we get to the fire Adam tells me to go find Macy and that I'll officially be part of the pack after the legend of the first alpha is told. Once he's gone I hunt for Macy when I find her she's with Thomas and Albert and Mary " hey guys!" I say when I approach " hi Charlotte how are yah?" Albert asks, Albert has always been a nice guy always helping out people in need or going out with girls who can't get dates or aren't asked to dances he's a sweet guy and Macy and him have always had a thing. " I'm alright how about yourself?" I reply he shrugs " can't complain" I finally notice his arm around Macy and the grin on her face " you guys ah got something to tell me?" I ask Macy grins "mates we are mates!" She squeals kissing Albert " my eyes my innocent eyes!!! They've been scarred for life!!" I yell dramatically getting some disapproving looks " right be mature be lunaish" I say to myself.
