-chapter two-
I kept walking for about 5 hours it was probably 8 something, the sun had already gone down. Then it started to rain. I sigh "of course" I think. I pull on my hood, and put my headphones in. We live near a really big forest, and whenever I need a breather or blow of steaming , I come out here. I climb up a random tree build a canopy to keep me warm, and try to get comfy. I close my eyes and fall asleep
**
I hear a snap of a stick. I quickly open my eyes, I keep my breath calm, I try to focus on sounds, and the pattern of the water falling off the leaves, "maybe it was an animal.", I think. "They said they saw something over here", a voice unknown says. I try to look down to see the figure, and from the voice it sounds like a man. "Wait I see something" another voice says. It's a woman. I get ready to jump. I've jumped out of higher trees,so it'll only sting a little. I breathe in and out. The woman speaks again, "It looks like a gir-"
I jump before she has time to finish her sentence. I wince and start to run. "Hey wait!" I ran faster. I ran because I was scared. I ran because that's all I how to do. I ran because I wanted to survive. I close my eyes and try to breathe. I think of my mother's calm gentle blue eyes. It causes me to run faster.
I cut my arm on a twig, and I hiss. I hear a lightly sound of footsteps. Someone's chasing me! I start to try to lose them. I stumble on a root, it causes me to slow down. Oh no! I try to run,but my ankle hurts so bad, that I start to see spots. I groan. A hand goes over my mouth, then a bag.
Oh no, my ankle slowed me down too much." "I told you to wait. You should've listened to me. I'm always right." Then it all went black..
