*EDITED/REWRITTEN*
So, so, so, so, so sorry I haven't been updating. Some life stuff came up and I haven't been able to work on it. Really proud of my almost 2,000 word story though! And over 1.3k views?! Totally blew my mind when I saw it.
Just to be clear, The Storm refers to a group like The Scarlet Hand, not an actual storm.
Unknown POV
"Master, she is here. The spell has worked,"
"Good. Bring her to me,"
Sabrina POV
"Bring her to me" The deep voice bounces around my head, in my sleep, in my dreams.
A sharp sting on my cheek brings me back to reality. Someone must have slapped me.
"Get up. Master wants you," A familiar voice says... Pinocchio!
"P-Pinocchio?!" I exclaim.
"He said," the deep voice says, "to get up," It's coming from a man sitting on a chair... throne? In the middle of the room we're in. All I can see of him is a silhouette.
I get up.
No! Don't get up, that's what he wants!
But his voice, it's so.... mesmerizing...
Snap out of it!!!
I find myself wanting to do what he says... to please him. If he wants me to get up, it must be the right thing to do, right?
No! He's the villain here!
Yet I still got up.
"Where am I? Why am I here?"
"Oh Sabrina. Poor, innocent, Sabrina. Did you think you would get told where you were? Silly, stupid, child. Inexperienced, naive, child. Immature-"
"Yeah, Yeah, we get it thesaurus," Says a new voice.
Oh no no no no no... No! It's Puck! They must have gotten him too!
'Master' growls.
"What did you just call me, fairy boy?!"
"I called you a thesaurus, got a problem?"
He turns to me again and chuckles.
"Oh, did I not mention that we got him too? Too much of a chance of him rescuing you if we let him stay. What an annoying habit to have,"
I growl, staring at Master's silhouette.
"Put them in the dungeons. Don't bother chaining them up, it's not like they can escape,"
With surprising strength, Pinocchio drags Puck through a doorway into a torch lit room. When he comes to get me, I attack. Clawing, screaming, punching, anything I can do to get away from this traitor. This lying, cheating, traitor.
None of it seems to have any effect. He drags me to the room, the dungeon apparently, and then goes out.
The expression on his face, it's not fury, anger, remorse. No, it's worse. Pity. Then the door slams shut, and I am alone with Puck.
"What did you do this time, Grimm?" He says after a brief moment of silence.
"Nothing. You should know, you were there,"
"No, I wasn't"
"But... the sickness, the food, the..."
"The what?"
