__________________________It took me approximately 3 seconds before I could make words come out of my mouth.
"What do you want, Tyler?" I asked the question with a glare, though exhaustion was threatening to overwhelm me.
Tyler visibly swallowed, his eyes flashing up and down my body before meeting my gaze once again. "You look like shit," he stated.
I glanced down and remembered I was standing in front of him with baggy guy clothes and a messy bun. I fought the heat threatening to swarm my cheeks and instead focused on my anger. "Really?" I asked dryly. "Thanks for letting me know, otherwise I would've gone about my day thinking I looked like a goddamn supermodel."
He snickered, leaning against the doorway. "I see you're still mad at me. Can I come in?"
"No," I scowled. "And if you're here to apologize, just get it over with."
He stared at me silently for a beat, a grin slowly starting to appear on his face. He stepped forward, making me glare at him warily.
Even with the heady scent of his cologne engulfing me, I stood my ground. Stepping backwards would be both a sign of weakness and allowing him to pass by me.
After sensing that I wasn't going to back down, I thought he was going to give up, but then he shocked me completely.
"Put me down, you dumbass!" I shrieked angrily. I pounded on his back with my fists and continued to yell from where I was slung over his shoulder. "I said you couldn't come in! This is practically breaking and entering!"
After carrying me past the threshold, he put me down and walked past me towards the living room.
I slammed the front door shut and huffed after him, anger rolling in waves from my body. He was lounging on my couch as I entered the living room, his feet up and arms behind his head, contentment on his face.
That pissed me off even more.
"What the fuck is wrong with you!?" I yelled, standing in front of him. "You already lied to the entire school and acted like I slept with you, which is completely unrealistic and disgusting, by the way, and now you're forcing yourself into my house? Don't you know when to quit?"
He looked amused, staring at me, but then his expression turned serious. "I really did come to apologize. I was a dumbass, but I didn't mean to actually hurt you."
I laughed bitterly. "Oh, really, then why did you tell the entire world on Facebook that I slept with you? Did you think that somehow wouldn't hurt me?"
He laughed sheepishly, leaning forward to poke me in the stomach. "Look, it was a joke, okay? I'm sure people aren't taking it seriously."
Maybe he would understand if he knew almost the exact same thing has happened before.
"Whatever. You wouldn't understand, anyway," I said, moving his feet and sitting on the couch next to him.
"Then please, enlighten me."
"I don't want to talk about it," I mumbled, looking down at the white carpet.
"Well, I guess I'm sorry."
"You guess?" I snorted. "Whatever, are you leaving now?"
"No, I think I'll stay."
My eyes narrowed. "You know, you don't sound very apologetic. Just annoying as hell, like usual."
He shrugged, flashing his white teeth as he gave a cheeky smile. "Annoying or not, I think I want to stay. Maybe even wait till Trent gets home."
I groaned and got up, knowing that Trent would probably be pissed if I sent his friend away. "Fine." After half a minute of sitting in silence with Tyler staring at me, I caved. "Just...shut up and put a movie in, would you? You've ruined my day and all I want is to relax."
