I always thought my parents were happy.. until I turned 10, then happiness was never a real thing..do you feel that? I always came home from school listening to the sarcastic remarks, and fallen words that weren't suppose to be said.

"It's worthless!" Suzanne yells.

"The part where you married me or lied when you said your vows?" Dustin sarcasticly remarks.

"For some reason your vows weren't so true either!!" Suzanne says shamely and walks away fighting the tears.

Dad sits on the couch with his head in his hands. I bet he was thinking about how everything had fallen downhill.

"I forgot how easy it was for you to break mom!" Ryan says dashing to her room.

The look on his face shook my insides up.. he was so sad but scared at the same time. What am I suppose to say? Does he win? Does mom win? Or do Ryan and I win?

Ryan and I blame ourselves. We are to worried about why the are fighting, not the words they're throwing at eachother. I'm 10 am I suppose to know that everything won't be okay? I guess we learn something new everyday.

Do you think an apology will change anything? Apologies are over rated. Why apologize when you're gonna do it again? Should Ryan and I apologize? I think every apology will keep us lost.

The next morning was toture.. YOU GUESSED IT! They were fighting, will it ever end? We know dad cheated.. They think we don't know, they don't know what we hear when they think we are asleep. Maybe it's a good idea they think we are asleep. It's poison to hear them fight, to hear them think outloud to eachother without it being anything but good things.

"Why did you do it?" I ask wiht my held to the ground.

"What are you talking about, Bryleigh?" Dad says without looking at me.

"Why did you cheat on mom?" I walk to the couch and sit next to him.

"I didn't mean too. It just happened." He looks at me sadly.

"Cheating isn't and accident. It can't just happen, It's a choice. So, why did you make that choice?" I stare at him with dissapointment.

"Your mother raides me with the same question."

"So why is it so hard for you to answer?"

"Why is it so easy for you to ask?"

"Because we all deserve answers that you're not giving us!"

"What answers do you want, Bryleigh? Huh?"

"Why don't you tell us that, Dad."

"Because for some reason there are way to many question i'm not even sure how to answer."

"How about you find some answers! We can't wait forever for you to figure out an excuse to save something you obviously don't want! " I stood up and walked back to bed.
