Jєѧʟousʏ...Erza x FemaleReader(Fairy Tail)

*This is my first one-shot! So sorry if it isnt that good!*

You'll never forget the look on Erza's face the day you were assigned to another team, other than hers. Her expression was filled with rage and jealousy, though she tried her best to hide it. She was always so stubborn when it came to showing her true feelings, but you saw right through her.

You had known Erza for a few years now, you could basically say you grew up together. Through all the years you've known her, you had developed a crush on her. You didn't know if you should tell her...maybe she just sees you as a friend, or maybe she sees you as less?

The thought of rejection pained you...you didn't want to ruin your friendship with her and you didn't want to be rejected either, so you kept quiet instead. You were barely going to see her anyway since you were moved to a new team, you'd only see her in the great hall every now and then.

"(Y/N)... are you okay?"

You snapped out of your train of thought and turned towards the owner of the voice, it was Mirajane.

She stood across the table, a worried look on her face and an empty tray in one hand. You and Mirajane had been hanging out together since you never got the chance to speak to Erza anymore, so you and Mirajane were pretty close now.

"What do you mean? I'm perfectly fine?" you replied, trying to pull the best smile you could and took a quick sip of your ale to make things less awkward.

Mirajane frowned at you and sat down next to you, resting her elbow on the table and setting the tray aside."Is it about Erza?" She knew you too well.

You nearly choked on your drink and looked at her with surprise.

"H-How did you know?" you stuttered out when you got your breath back. She smiled at you and rested her hand on your shoulder.

"I know you two are very close, but you've been very quiet lately and i noticed you and Erza aren't around each other anymore. Is it because you were moved to a new team?"

You did't know what else to say, so instead you lowered your head and stared at your hands. You heard her sigh and she scooted closer to you.

"I understand. But just so you know, Erza's been asking about you...she clearly seems worried, even if she won't admit it. Go talk to her, i'm sure she'd like to hear how you're doing?"

This caught you a little offgaurd. If Erza wanted to see you, she would've already, right? It didn't make any sense...maybe Mirajane only said it to make you feel better.

"Thanks, I'll talk to her later then." you replied as you pulled a fake smile, stood up and left. You needed some rest since it had been a long week.

Mirajane smiled, took your empty cup and returned to her duties.

The next morning started off as any other morning. Wake up, get dressed and have breakfast at the guild hall.

While on your way for breakfast, you saw the one person you thought you'd never see again, and she was headed in your direction.

"E-Erza?" you stuttered as your heart raced, you hadn't seen her in so long, you weren't sure what else to do.

You lowered your gaze and hoped she didn't recognize you. You were too scared to talk to her, scared that she'd be mad at you or didn't want to talk to you anymore since you weren't as closebas you used to be.

She walked past you, but before she continued on her walk, she said something.

"Meet me behind the guild hall after breakfast." with that said, she left, leaving you utterly confused yet happy. Erza wanted to talk to you, so it made your day a lot brighter.

Without a second thought, you hurried off to the great hall, your brown hair waving behind you as you ran. The sooner you finished breakfast, the sooner you could see Erza.

Breakfast came and passed. You hurriedly gulfed down your food and ran to the back of the hall, hoping to see Erza there.

As soon as you neared the spot where you would meet, your heart stopped. She wasn't there.

Maybe she got held up?

Maybe she's running a little late?

Or maybe...it was just a trick.

a Sick prank to get your hopes up.

All these negative thoughts started flowing into your mins, making you dizzy. So you decided to leave and maybe go lay down for a while.

Just as you were about to leave, you felt a slight tap on your right shoulder.

You hurriedly turned around and to see who it was and there she stood. Erza. Your green orbs lit up ans your heart raced. Here she was, the one person you cherished the most.

Just as you were about to speak, you felt pressure on your lips and arms snake their way around your waist.

Realization hit and you realized that Erza was kissing you. Instinct kicked in, you slowly melted into kiss and closed your eyes as your arms found their way around her neck.

Your lips moved in sync and your face heated up. This was all too good to be real. You loved this feeling. The feeling of being held close, the feeling of being in her arms. It made you feel safe and loved.

The need for air made you pull away and look at her with shock. She only gave a half smirk and folded her arms.

"I've been meaning to talk to you for a while..." she stated, a slight blush crept onto her face as she tried her best to hide it.

"Erza...why didn't you tell me?"

"Because i thought you liked someone else! I thought...you and Mirajane...you two are always together and i thought-" you cut her off before she could finish.

"We're just friends...and we're always together because i need someone to talk to since you and i aren't that close anymore..." You smiled sweetly at her.

Erza looked at you and sighed in relief. " So you're not together?"

The look on her face was actually adorable. You could see she was relieved and happy now.

"No...just friends! besides...I like you...more than a friend."

Her eyes lit up and she engulfed you in a bone-crushing hug, which you returned.

"so...can i ask you something?" she asked as she looked at you with eyes filled with hope.

"Sure!" You were curious now, but you knew what was coming next.

"Be mine?"

Even though you knew she was going to ask that, it made your heart stop. Just the fact that she was asking you, hearing those words come from her mouth, made you want to die of happiness right on the spot.

"I'd be stupid not to say yes." you replied with a smile.

"So thats a yes?"

"Does this answer your question?" Before she could say anything, you pulled her in for another kiss.

*Bonus Ending*

As Erza and (Y/N) were kissing, Natsu and the rest of the fairy tail guild watched.

"Well, at least this will put a stop to Erza's mood-swings!" was all Natsu could say before getting hit on the head with a fish.

"Happy! What was that for?"

"For ruining the moment!"
