I bolted awake in a cold sweat, breathing heavily.  I looked around and breathed a sigh of relief: I wasn't burning alive. My house wasn't on fire.

So why did that dream feel so real? As if I had experienced it?

I tried to shake off the feeling and go back to sleep, but I couldn't fall back into the arms of sleep after a flashback dream like that. I groaned in irritation,  and get out of bed.

"Time to get ready for college. " I thought to myself, as I got ready. I combed what little hair I had and put on jeans and a t-shirt.

"Hey. Ready for another big day?" I ask him, giggling a little bit.

He had a girlfriend. In Michigan. Named Jay. Her numbers were in his phone. And I had adopted her as my big sister.

"Yeah......I guess." He said to me, as we got into the car and let it warm up. It was cold outside and the car had to warm up some.

"Well we can do it! Just stay focused!" I said to him, as he smiled at my words.

"Ok." He replied, as we headed off to college.

"But I still wonder whether that dream was real, Or whether I just had lost my memory of when I was born. But I am my own person and not just a personality." I say to myself fiercely......
