Text Messages (Shun Izuki x Reader)

You and Shun Izuki had this so called 'Mutual Relationship' ever since freshmen in Seirin high school. You weren't really fond of listening ... Or should I say READING his puns on your cellphone. Yep. Even though you guys had an M.U. relationship, you didn't had the chance to talk to each other face to face which makes it pretty stupid in your opinion. I guess we all know that situation where couples talk a lot through technology but talk less in person. You both only managed to greet and wave. Heck, you guys even got to date but the talks were small.

Moving on, it was spring and classes just ended. You were walking your way out of the school building but then happened to bump by a familiar phantom man who was a bit shorter than you (lol). He was no one other than Kuroko Tetsuya. "Ah S-sorry Kuroko-kun. I should pay more attention to my surroundings" you apologized but you have to admit that you weren't used to see him all the time with that invisible magic of his. "It's alright. I actually came here because I was told by Izuki senpai to let you check your phone" he explained with a poker face as always.

"Phone you say?" You tilted your head a bit then checked your phone to see one new message from Izuki. "Ah I see ... Thanks Kuro--" you thanked the guy for nothing for he had magically disappeared. Shrugging that off, you checked the message.

Hello (Y/N). I think Kuroko dropped something very precious to me. Would you give it back to me please? By the way, the cherry blossoms look beautiful today but of course not as beautiful as you ;)

You didn't quite grasp the idea what he said well except the part where you giggled at the second sentence. You stared at the floor where Kuroko was standing before and saw a soft white cotton in a form of a heart shape. You picked it up and giggled again as you replied the pun master.

Ehe ... Why don't you try looking for me to find out? Goodluck. I'm just around the school campus. I'll be waiting love.

You couldn't help but smile as you read the word 'love' in his text. Without a moment to lose, you searched for him with shoes tapping rapidly. While doing so, you received some messages from him again.

You are very close to finding me (Y/N) I could feel it. Will you give up?

Hell no you weren't.

Be the girl who I have first laid my eyes on and the girl who can make me smile. It would be perfect if you were my girlfriend right?

You chuckled at how you wished it was true but you thought it wasn't the right time yet. Panting from exhaustion, you managed to search the whole school building and the possible places he might be but you ran out of luck. Suddenly a little pup caught your attention as it gave soft barks to you. You noticed a small piece of rolled up paper around his neck and picked it up. It saids: follow me

Baffled, the little pup started to walk away. 'No way, this is stupid. I couldn't possibly follow him could I?' You debated with yourself but then followed the pupster in the end. It led you to the school garden. Spring has done a really good job today so you couldn't help but stare at the plants with awe.

Almost there (Y/N)-san. Nigou already gave you a hint.

"Ugh. Just what is this pun master up to. If he saw me why can't he just face me right away?" You murmured while shutting your phone and putting it in your bag. You made quick look without leaving your spot then made a turn. With a blink of an eye, he was just standing right behind you with a bashful look on his face. You immediately took a step backward before blushing furiously.

"H-hey (Y/N)-san" he greeted while scratching at the back of his head. "Hello to you too Izuki-kun"  you smiled as a shield that your heart was beating too fast. It slowed down afterwards when neither of you two would speak up. It was a heavy and awkward atmosphere for you guys and you thought so hard on what to talk about. "S-say (Y/N)-san. I just want to tell you that you're my light like what Kagami and Kuroko have, you're cute even though you're silent like Mitobe well he doesn't really make a sound but yeah and you're is more luscious than Hyuuga's" "OIE!!" A male voice spoke up from the bushes and was about to karate chop the punny man but the coach stopped him from doing so.

"I-it's not my fault! I was just reading what Kagami showed me!" Izuki explained. The rest of the team came out from the bushes with a matching entrance of accidentally falling out of it. "Eh?" Was all you could say.

"Damn it. Don't blame me. I was the one raising it" Kagami defended while looking at the cardboard full of lines for Izuki to say.

"Who wrote it then?" Koganei spoke up followed by Mitobe who only stayed silent as always. Everyone turned their attention to Kuroko. "Ah. You noticed me" his eyes widened.

"You wrote it?!"

"Don't be stupid Kagami-kun. You did it"

"Why you--"

"Ah. You got some nerve writing that down Kagami" Dark Hyuuga appeared with a huge paper fan in his hands. "Geez ... Get back to training you idiots" Riko took the fan and batted their butts towards the gym leaving you two love birds alone. "T-that was scripted eh?" You smirked"

"S-sorry (Y/N)-san. I didn't know what to say so I tried to find a way to tell you--" he trued to explain but you interrupted him with a cute giggle coming from you. "It's fine. I actually find it cute" "in that case look at the recent messages I gave you for today" he told you and you obeyed.

"Okay? Are you flirting with me?"

"J-just read the letters that are italicized" he adverted his eyes away from you. You scanned the messages from the very first to the last. (A/N: you are the reader so you better scroll up (￣▽￣) )

You covered your face with your phone to hide the shades of red that were forming on your cheeks. "You ... Is that really necessary?"

"You haven't answered mine yet" he pouted. Getting a little impatient. You couldn't answer right away though. You weren't quite sure of yourself. "Ah. There's no need to rush! I'll be waiting for it so--" he could see right through you and your action.

"Tch. Is it wrong to think for a bit? Jeez" you laughed and he started to laugh as well. Well I guess I'll leave it to you your answer to him.
