POV- Han Sun Hi
I looked at the queenkas who were smirking from their spot in the crowd and was determined not to cry. I wouldn't give them the satisfaction. The kingkas were passing by on the upper level and looked down at me. Some of them held looks of amusement on their faces, while a few of the others looked almost upset. Kiseop came down to me and looked me over before glaring at the queenkas.
"Why did you do this to her?" He asked upset though I don't know why.
"She stood up to you sunbae she needed to learn her place." the main queenka Park Ja Hyo who went by Danielle trying to be cool and have an English name or something, said batting her eyelashes at him.
"How do you know what her place is? Hmm? Did she tell you?" Kiseop questioned pointedly and she winced and backed up a bit.
"Aniyo sunbae." she answered hanging her head shamefully.
"Well then for what reason did you make her a human pancake? " Kiseop continued, " Perhaps you were just jealous of her getting attention. Would you like me to tell you what to do and threaten your family's reputation as well?"
"Aniyo sunbae, jwesonghamnida." Ja Hyo replied with a shaky voice as she bowed.
"Don't apologize to me, apologize to her." Kiseop said gesturing to me.
"Jwesonghamnida Sun Hi-shi." Ja Hyo bowed to me then.
"Good, now everyone can go." Kiseop commanded and immediately the crowd dispersed. He looked at me again and sighed before grabbing my wrist and dragging me off with the kingkas following. He took me to their hideout and sat me down he grabbed a small hand towel from somewhere and gently wiped my face off.
"You're lucky they forgot to add milk. " Kiseop joked as he wiped the eggs and flour off of me.
I smiled a little at that, " I was expecting that any second before you showed up sunbae."
"Well it that case I guess you're lucky that I showed up huh?" he said looking me over again before cleaning up my arms and trying to get what he could out of my hair.
"Nae sunbae I am. Kamsahamnida, for what you did. You didn't have any reason to stop them, you don't even really know who I am." I looked down at my hands that were resting in my lap.
"That's why I saved you pabo. If it turns out you're a nobody you're going to owe me big, and I won't stop them again unless you're worth it." Kiseop told me putting the towel up and making my nerves resurface, " You can start getting on my good side by remembering to bring your bank account information tomorrow."
I sighed but nodded, not happy about the way this was going to go. Kiseop shot me a smirk satisfied that this time I wasn't challenging his position in this school, or in general.
"Good, for now though. Go home and get cleaned up. I'll tell the school you weren't feeling well." Kiseop said before leaving with the other kingkas. I sat alone in the room trying to think of a plan for what to do about the bank account, but couldn't think of anything. I sighed and got up leaving school for the day. I got home and crept into my room getting changed and taking my dirty uniform to the laundry room for our apartment building. I washed the uniform carefully and checked for stains before ironing it carefully and putting it on a hanger going back up to my room and thankfully not getting caught. After that I did my homework before taking a shower now that I would have been home from school and my mom wouldn't question me and getting changed to go to work. My friend Hei In works there as well and she hugged me tightly when I showed up.
"I see you survived day one in that big shot school." She said proudly, " I knew you could do it."
"Ehh I wasn't there all day, and it wasn't really good." I explain putting on the apron I wore to serve customers.
"Alright spill girl, what happened and don't leave out a single detail." Hei In leaned on the counter looking at me intently and waiting for the story. I sighed and told her about everything that happened and what I was worried about with the whole bank account information scenario.
"Excuse me? What happened to our fearless Sun Hi? She wouldn't have cared about what those rich kids thought of her family's financial situation. She wouldn't have given into their trying to force her to bring it either. She's a rebel who stands up for her family's honor, but you aren't like that anymore. You're in there half a day and you're already a push over. Girl this is a problem." Hei In ranted off to me, it struck me after a moment though. She was right, everything she said was right. With that I made up my mind about what I was going to do about this situation.
"I guess you're right. Maybe I'll just have to forget my family's bank account information at home then." I said smiling innocently at her.
"And our girl is back! " she said hugging me to death as she was now overly excited, " You show those king and queenkas who's boss girl. Sun Hi hwaiting!"
I chuckled a bit, "Hwaiting!"
