Chapter Replaced with: Chapter 2 ~ Party

As I arrived home, I was greeted by my mother. She looked extremely concerned and came rushing up to me.

"Are you alright?! The principal said that you were harassed!" She exclaimed.

"I'm fine mum." I groaned in annoyance.

She took one last look at me, before turning on her heel and walking away. I sighed in relief and walked up to my bed room.

I did not like the way this was going so I need to re-write it. Only 500 words in luckily ~ Beth

I sat on my queen sized bed and gazed around the room, over come by boredom. I looked at my laptop and an idea popped into my head. The shirt that Michael guy was wearing said 'green day' on it, maybe I could research it. I hopped off my bed and slumped into my desk chair, I opened up the web browser and typed in the name 'Green day'. I found out they were a band and decided to listen to one of their songs. It was called 'American idiot'. It was a rock song and very loud. It fit Michael's personality. I began getting into the song and ended up dancing around the room pretending to play the air guitar. I was jumping around like an idiot, just enjoying the song. I eventually learnt the chorus and began singing along. As the song finished, I noticed my mother stood in my door way; she looked unimpressed.

"Uh... Hi mum." I awkwardly said, turning off my laptop.

"What was, that!?" She spat, pointing her finger at the computer, looking disgusted.

"It was Green day, they're a band. They're actually quite cool." I mused.

"Don't, I repeat, Don't listen to that disgusting rock music!" She screeched, before exiting the room.

I sighed and sat on my bed, now bored again. I eventually ended up doing all my homework due for the week and even the extra credit work. As I finished off my essay, the note Mike wrote caught my eye. I stared at it for a while, thinking 'should I actually go to this party?'. I shook off the thought of it and decided to practice playing the guitar. My acoustic guitar was covered in zentangle styled drawings. I had used it for an art project before, which I ended up getting an 'A' on. I practiced a few chords and some songs from a practice book, eventually, I stopped since my fingers hurt like hell.

"Alexis! Time for dinner!" My mother called from downstairs.

I rushed downstairs, stumbling into the dining room. I was hungry to say the least. I sat down and my mother came in and put down the plates of the food. We were having spaghetti, with vegetables.   I ate it quickly, to avoid the awkward dinner table questioning, and rushed back into my room.

"Thanks for the food, mum!" I called out, as I bolted up the stairs.

As I turned to close my bedroom door, I heard a thump from my window. I spun around on my heel, prepared for the worst. I didn't exactly know how to react to what I saw... On my bedroom floor, below my window, was Michael Gordon Clifford.

"Michael?!" I whisper-shouted.

"Hey beautiful." He slurred, getting up.

"MU-" I began, but Michael covered my mouth.

"Shut up." He hissed.

Tears pricked at my eyes and I struggled in his grasp. He kept trying to calm me down but I declined to, but soon I gave up.

"I'm not gonna hurt you, Jesus Christ, I may do some bad stuff but I don't hurt innocent people." He whispered, still holding onto me.
