Fresh air

The weight of the water was getting so heavy and everything started to go blurry and I couldn't breathe. I thought that I was going to drown but I felt something wrap around my waist and full me out of the airplane. Once we got above the sea I took in a big gulp of air and let it fill my lungs. It felt so good to be able to breath again. I turn around and see Dayl wading in the water behind me.
"Oh my god, babe I thought you would be gone forever. I wasn't ready to lose you. I am so sorry it took me so long to save you," he says as tears flood down his face.
"Dayl, don't be sorry you saved my life and that's all I could ask for. And you are here with me," you say giving him a kiss.

When every body is finally taken up in a helicopter I cling on to Dayl as I never want to let him go again. He hugs me back and says "I will never let you go," as if he can read my mind. The pilot announces that we will arrive in five minutes. I am so grateful because now I am absolutely terrified of planes.

When we land at Dublin airport I can see that my parents are already waiting for me. I rush over and give them a huge hug because I thought I would never see them again. "Oh, mam, dad, this is Dayl, my boyfriend," he say to them, nervously. I hoped they would like him.
"Well, hello Dayl it's lovely to meet you. I am so glad you both survived," my dad says, shaking Dayl's hand.
"Oh and also, Dayl saved my life because the plane was pulling me down and he pulled me out," you say looking into his eyes.
"Haha, of course, I had to Lizz, I love you," he says while placing a kiss on my forehead.

Dayl went home to see his parents to to reassure them that he was ok. I didn't want him to go but the minute I arrived home I called him.
"Hey Dayl, how are you?" was the first thing you said.
"Great, my parents are so relieved that I'm ok, and they can't wait to meet you," he says with a chuckle.
"Well tell them I can't wait to meet them either," you say. After about half an hour of talking, you go and talk to your parents. They say they have a surprise for you and hand you an envelope. You tear it open wondering what's inside. A huge cheesy grin spred across your face. It was a two tickets to go and see hometown in concert.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" you scream and give your parents a hug.

In two weeks you would be seeing Dayl again alongside your best friend.
