Before Monsters came to the surface you where simply taking a nice walk and decided to take a little detour through Mt. Ebott, that led you to fall down a hole and see a whole new world. You've made friends with a child named Frisk and all of the other Monsters whom you adore, your favorite would have to be the skeleton brothers, they would always find ways to make you smile. Papyrus was like a little brother to you, even though he's anything but small, you even took it upon yourself to see that he can actually cook something edible. Sans though was very mysterious, he loves to make jokes all the time which you especially enjoy a good joke and even make some really good ones on the fly but, lately it seems as though Sans has been avoiding you lately and your not sure why.
'Did I do something wrong? Did I hurt his feelings?'
You where Determined to find out.
Papyrus called you earlier and asked if you'd come over for dinner, which you said yes. Both the skeleton brothers still live in the underground even after the barrier was broken but that's because they don't really have a place to move to yet, you offered for them to live with you but they turned down the offer. Right now you where standing outside the skeletons house in Snowdin and knocking on the door.
A few seconds went by when Sans opened the door and looked at you with surprise "(y/n)? What you doing here?"
You gave him a gentle smile "Papyrus invited me over to dinner and asked me to come right away. Did he not tell you?"
Sans shakes his skull "No, he said he was spending the night at Alphus and Undynes place tonight and left a few minutes ago."
You frown slightly and raise a brow "Then why would he invite me to dinner?"
He shrugs "don't know.."
You shrug all so but then a smile creeps on your face, you haven't seen nor talked to Sans in a while so to say your very happy is quite accurate. "Knock knock" you knock on the door and look as Sans in the eyes which you notice he's looking anywhere but your eyes.
"Uh, who's there?"
"Egg"
"Egg who?"
"Eggcited to finally get to talk to you again."
He chuckles and you laugh a bit your cheeks growing red.
You've come to terms awhile ago that you had a crush on the small skeleton, but you've also come to terms that he probably don't like you that way and is probably already with someone...Toriel maybe...
"So uh...(y/N)" Sans looks really nervous and his face turns a light shade of blue. "Well uh, since your here and all, uh, do you think that maybe, uh, that maybe we could..." The more he talks and stutters the more blue his face gets "Well uh, you see the thing is..."
"Is this gonna be about why you've been avoiding me lately?"
He looks up and looks a little sad "uh, yeah, sorry about that.. Its just..." He sighs "god why is it so hard to say..."
"Say what Sans?"
You grab his hand and hold it in yours which makes the both of you blush. "W-well...um, would...would you like to go on a date?" My eyes widen and Sans takes that as a bad sign "I, uh, I mean if you don't want to you don't have to! I mean I was just thinking and well uh, when you came down here you had that little date and I guess I, was feeling a little left out! Imsorryivebeenavodingyouijustreallylikeyouandnithinkyourcuteandstuddtreallylikeyouandnithinkyourcuteandstuffiamsosorry!"
He tries to recoil his hand but you keep a strong hold on it as you lean and kiss him on his skull. "Let's get some nice cream." Sans face at this point is so blue you'd think he had frost bite, he smiles at you widely "okay." And closes the door behind him as you both walk hand in hand.
"Ya know Sans" you start "I wanna be your girlfriend."
He squeezes your hand "y-you do?"
You nod an decided to kiss him on his teeth "have been for awhile"
Sans is stunned as you continue to walk towards the nice cream man. "Wow.."
You giggle and squeeze his hand.
Meanwhile some where in a bush:
