I coughed and water escaped my lungs. Light flooded into my eyes and I peered up into the sky.
"You did not just do that." Aiden cried. I pulled into his shirt and cried my eyes out. "Was it my fault?" Aiden asked after a while.
"No. Walk with me." I changed the subject and started walking to the secluded cabin. I grabbed a cup from our room before we left the area.
~~~~~
Once we got to the cabin I filled the cup with water and set it onto the table next to me. Aiden stood quietly next to the emergency axe in case of fire. I pulled him to small area next to a wall and started to explain what had happened."I probably should've figured that it wasn't a party huh." I laughed. I poked Aiden's chest. He smiled and pecked my lips.
"Yea. I guess." I smiled back. I kissed him again and heard the door creek open. Cosmo was walking straight for us. He grabbed my water I set down earlier and splashed it on Aiden. I gasped.
"I thought we had something special in that kiss." He was standing directly in front of the axe.
"You forced me to kiss you." I shuttered. He shook his head and looked to his side at the glass. I bit my lip and looked and Aiden. Cosmo growled.
" I'm sick of him. Always trying to show off." Cosmo punched the glass container holding the axe. He picked up the axe knocking the left over glass from it's resting place. Aiden froze in shock while I stood up in front of him. "I am going to chop him up into little pieces." Cosmo slowly walked towards me and his back was arched, the axe hanging over his shoulder. He frowned and his bottom lip trembled.
"No, you are not. Put down the axe." I shook in fear while I stepped closer to Cosmo. He pulled the axe away from my grip and scowled.
"YES I AM! I AM SICK OF HIM AND IM SICK OF YOU TOO!" He screamed and took a step back slipping on the puddle he had just created from dumping water onto Aiden. The axe flew into the air and I watched it float in a spiral back down to the ground. It felt like everything slowed down. Time was stopping. I followed the axe with my gaze. Just before it hit the ground time sped up again and the axe flung into my knee knocking me to the ground. The axe was just under my knee cap and it was lodged into the ground beneath me as well. It went all the way through. I was now trapped.
I looked straight down to my knee which was gushing blood. It was almost like a fountain of my blood. I screamed and my head fell to the ground. I couldn't look at my knee, it made it hurt worse.
"HARMONY!" Aiden said running to my side ignoring his fear of Cosmo. I looked into his eyes which were darting across the room and then to me. He was panicking. I felt my leg beginning to go numb. "What do I do?" He sobbed.
"Nothing. I am loosing to much blood Aiden. Just run, I don't want you to die to." I managed to squeeze out a fake smile. I felt my cheek heat up as a tear ran down my face. My lips started to tremble. I placed my hand onto his cheek softly. I pouted and closed my eyes slowly and took my time opening them again. I felt Cosmo on my leg pulling the axe from my leg.
"I can't leave you!" Aiden screamed while I felt the metal of the axe slip through my leg wound. If Aiden didn't leave now he would die too. I laughed while more tears threatened to pour from my eyes.
" Run." I said pushing him with the last of my strength. "NOW!" I screamed my last scream while I watched Aiden start to run. I trembled when I looked back at Cosmo who was holding the Axe and running after Aiden.
"Goodbye Aiden." I said letting the tears fall. I died knowing he was safe. Was all I could think. I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply. I held my breath while my last tear fell. Exhaling, I opened my eyes and looked up into the sky. My last veiw.
