Ally's POV.
"Thank god" I sighed, crashing onto the newly moved sofa.
"That- was fun" Niall was doubled over with his hands on his knees, clearly out of breath. We had just finished taking the sofa up seven flights of stairs. As well as everything else, but the sofa had been the trickiest by far. Everything else could fit in the lift, but because were dumb and couldn't figure out how it came apart, the stairs were our only option. And then we had to try and get it throught the door, and it only just fit. But the front door opens up to a little hallway thing, with a cupboard that I think i'm gonna use for coats and shoes, and the sitting room is just across from that. Its a pretty big apartment; two bedrooms, a main bathroom, en suite on one of the bedrooms, cute double french doors that lead on to a balcony, a really nice kitchen/dining room area, with a huge fridge might I add. All it needs is food.
"Ugh, and I don't have any internet yet" I whined. Internet installing man would be here in the next few days, to ya know, hook me up. With internet I mean. And TV, you know all the channels and stuff. Niall looked like he was ready to pass out.
"Wanna go get something to eat?" I asked, trying to get his mind off the fact that he practically single handely carried a two part settee up a load of stairs. I tried to help but, It was really heavy. Oh well, proves he works out. Plus he got back from Africa about a day ago, so he needs to be treated, and I don't think heavy liftings much of a treat.
"We ate a hour ago," He replied still out of breath. I proped myself up on my elbows and looked at him "But I guess we could go out again, sure"
"I need to go food shopping," I said getting lost in my track of thoughts.
"More shopping?" Niall groaned, snapping me back to reality.
"Yup, but need to call Rosey first, and tell her that everythings moved in. Hmm, i'll need to skype her and let her pick a room.." I sat up properly and flicked my phone out of my pocket, quickly scrolling through contacts. Niall sat up and watched me as I pressed it to my ear.
"I'm not here right now, obviously, so leave a message and i'll get back to you, if your important enough or if I like you" The answering machine rolled on. Despite the very Rosey-ish answering tone, I frowned and Niall looked at me sideways.
"Whats up?" He asked
"Voicemail," I said bluntly "She never lets it go to voicemail"
"She probably ran out of battery or something," Niall tried to assure me.
"I suppose, it's just really unlike her. I've never even heard her voicemail before! And its a sunday, so she's not in school or anything"
"Don't worry about it, lets go get some food yeah? Try and call her later" He said putting a arm around my shoulder and kissing my temple.
"Yeah," I replied quietly and sourly as we walked out of the apartment.
* * *
Despite what Niall said, everytime I tried to call her it just went straight to her voicemail. So, I left a few messages that she'd hopefully get. Niall's probably right, she might just be out of battery, or something. Maybe she turned her phone off? Or maybe she's avoiding me..
It's really quite strange though, usually she wants to talk. Is it something I did? Come to think of it, I haven't spoken to her since tuesday. I had a meeting on Wednesday about single release scheduals, and wasn't free to talk till Thursday, and she hasn't been available since.
Anyway my mind was quickly taken off things when me and Niall went food shopping in tesco's and bought, well, every junk food possible and ended up deciding to have a movie marathon evening to break in the new flat. Of course we were papped, and it was just brilliant how I was out in an old addidas hoodie and sweatpants. Ah, who am I kidding. I didn't really care. Since the guy was coming tomorrow to set up Sky TV and the wifi, all we had was the actual TV and a DVD player so it was still pretty good. Of course, I had brought over my favourite DVD's from home, which included 'The Lion King', 'Mean Girls', 'The Hunger Games', 'High School Musical' 'Marley and Me', and some of Rosey's DVD's that i've never got round to giving back, like 'Eclipse' (what she doesn't know won't hurt her) 'Remember Me' (Again, she doesn't know, and i'm suprised because this is one of her favourites) 'Hairspray' and 'Letters To Juliet'. Hm, quite a selection. But Marley and Me for the win. Its always Marley and Me, no question.
